The unit was simple to install. It began making ice within two hours. I was able to discard four cycles of ice by early evening. It has been performing flawlessly for two weeks now. This is an excellent replacement ice maker. !!!!

Ice maker was easy to install works good only had one small issue with the piece that catches the water to make ice was much lower than the original so water did not all go into the ice maker. Easy fix just put a piece of pool floaty to push the piece over and catch all the water as it should. Good luck

It works great - but pay attention to the ice bar switch. The description says its not required, but even without an ice bar in your system it still plays a part.I installed this unit to replace one in which the internal contacts had corroded and would no longer make contact as the motor stepped through its rotation.My ice maker does not have an ice bar, it uses a light sensor. BUT this unit does have the ice bar mechanism in place. After a long time trying to figure out why all the voltages and resistances in troubleshooting guides indicated that the ice maker should be working it did not, The solution was embarrassingly obvious. The white slot in the top right of the control side is where the ice bar would connect if you have one. If its rotated counter clockwise (slot is horizontal) it is in the OFF position and no ice will be made. You must stick a flat screwdriver in the slot and rotate it clockwise about 45 degrees to the on position before it makes any ice.

Perfect fit, and does what it's supposed to. The 20 year old one it replaced was peeling and gross. I'm so happy with this new one and for a reasonable price!

There is no way this ice maker will work with my freezer. I entered my model # and they claim that it will work. I am mailing it back for a refund which is subject to a 20% restocking fee. Bought through Bolo but have to go through the vendor for returns. Poor customer service service from edge water company
