About this item:
A new class of clarity The 3M Littmann CORE Digital Stethoscope features the outstanding acoustics, comfort and quality of a Littmann cardiology-grade stethoscope enhanced by powerful digital technology. Features like up to 40x amplification1 and active noise cancellation can help you auscultate with greater confidence. The 3M Littmann CORE Stethoscope connects with Eko software on a smart device2 to visualize, record and share data. (Smart device not included. Some features require a subscription.) Take listening to a whole new level The FDA-cleared 3M Littmann CORE Stethoscope toggles between analog and amplified listening modes so you can listen how you want to during assessments. Tunable diaphragm technology—a 3M invention—lets you hear different frequency sounds by simply adjusting the pressure on the chestpiece. Hold the chestpiece with light pressure on the patient to hear low frequency sounds; press a little more to hear higher frequency sounds. Soft-sealing ear tips conform to individual ears for optimal comfort and excellent sound occlusion. The 3M Littmann CORE Stethoscope works with Eko software on iOS and Android devices, giving you a HIPAA compliant means to save and annotate 15, 30, 60 or 120-second recordings in a secure dashboard. Create a library of heart sounds to monitor the progressions of a disease or for education, and securely share recordings with colleagues. 140X amplification based on comparison of analog versus electronically assisted amplified listening with maximum volume at the peak frequency (125 Hz).

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth It!
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Love this stethoscope. As a vet tech that is a bit hard of hearing in one ear, this stethoscope has been a game changer for me! Great amplification and love that you can connect to the app. Only thing is it does tend to amplify outside noise as well if you’re in a noisy environment like a barn or shelter so I can be a bit distracting but overall, it is amazing! Also love that it comes with extra covers and earpieces!

My absolute favorite stethoscope for work. I work with majority of the geriatric population and they don’t like breath deep enough to hear their lungs sounds but this amplified setting makes the world of difference. You can set settings for heartbeat, lung, or both. There’s an app you can record with to compare the sounds you hear. The length is standard. The charge lasts forever, and doesn’t take long too get full. I got a standard black but there are plenty to choose from. Overall, YOU NEED THIS! Trust me, it makes the world of difference.
5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome device
Sound quality is awesome. Sometimes will pick up noise from room. App will have functional tutorials. Easy to wear around neck.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent stethoscope
Best in class! Littman is the most trusted brand in stethoscopes for good reason. Superb acoustics. A worthy investment for any clinician.

Good working
5.0 out of 5 stars Sounds good!
works great for my hearing impairment, but I do have to remove my ear molds
4.0 out of 5 stars Really nice for an overpriced device.
As a former Fire & Rescue EMT I went all out and I bought this 3M Littmann CORE digital stethoscope to compliment my Wellue BP2 Connect - Blood Pressure Monitor + AI-ECG and O2/pulse finger monitor. I will be adding a few more items to my "set" soon. My declining health and doctors somewhat dictated that I get those and few other things. I decided that I would bite the bullet and get now what I could not afford as and EMT back then. Sometimes nice things just make you feel better, at least that was my perspective and rationale that I used to justify this. I will leave it to my favorite doctor in my Will! lol It is nice and works well, but very overpriced for me and my application- that of being the patient and not a doctor, especially a cardiologist and that is who this setup is aimed at. I would like to suggest that they have an APP that is aimed for people/users like me, but it is a HIGH QUALITY PROFESSIONAL DEVICE and I suspect that there are very few of the MEs out there that will spring for this and at the price they ask. When I saw my GP today he and his assistant were impressed, and got the appropriate amount of OOOHs and AAAAHHHs that one would expect. I like COPPER color and that is what I got with gold being to tripe and overused now-days I picked COPPER as my go-to metallic color of choice. I do with the metal earpieces would match instead of being black, but I bet I can make a project of it and copper plate it at home one of these days??However, after getting this and more contemplation- I have decided that if I were todo it over again, YES- I would do it again. Now if I can find an APP that would let me integrate this S-Scope with the Wellue products then I would be a really happy camper. I don't have time to learn to program an APP to do it so I will just have to hope some bored programmer will and let me know! lolYES- If this is what you need and want, go for it- buy it and then ask nicely for better software if you need it (like me). I did not like the optional ID tag that I purchased with it. At any price (or free) is a cheap-out option to go with such a fine medical instrument and then put their name on it!?! What were you thinking 3M/LITTMANN? Someone in authority needs to see the packaging and quality and reconsider that option, seriously reconsider.Yes- get the S-scope CORE Digital thing and pass up the optional ID thing. Maybe use a gold paint pen and write your name behind the short hose, sounds trashy but it is a step up from what they offer and actually put their brand on! If you have any questions feel free to ask.

I absolutely love mine. I've used it for a few years now and work full time in fire and ems. The streets are loud and unpredictable. Having a tool that can help with that is amazing. Very user friendly and functional.
Meh
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } App is glitchy and lung sounds are not even as good as a regular stethoscope because it's so over amplified. Sounds like everyone has crackles. I don't think this is worth the money.
Completely worth the money
I have to say, I love this stethoscope! I previously had the III version stethoscope from Littmann and although I liked it, I struggled to hear sounds clearly on certain patients. After trying a similar model of my co-worker's I was finally convinced to get this one. I love how clear the audio is; I can even hear heart sounds when listening to lower posterior lungs! I'm not a big fan of the Eko app as I don't have much use for it but I like connecting to it to see my stethoscope's battery life. I've heard some people say it's tedious to charge the stethoscope but I simply turn the electronic mode off after auscultating patients and I only have to charge it every ~3 (12 hour) shifts. And even then it's only about 2 hours to charge it fully. So not a big nuisance in my eyes. To me the only slight issue is that the stethoscope tubing is longer than the III model, meaning it doesn't fit into my current stethoscope case and is a bit awkward to fold and put in my scrub pants' side pocket. But still a great item!
Couldn't verify originality of product
I couldn't register the product online. When contacted littman through mail with serial number and pics they didn't bothered to reply. So I returned it.
