For the money, this is a very handsome model of a 1950s, Pan American, Douglas DC-4. The markings and colors are spot on and the model itself has very good detail for its 1/125 scale. It takes just a few minutes to carefully "press fit" the model together and then mount it on the stand it comes with. Highly recommended if you like propliners from the 1940s-50s postwar era.

Absolutely beautiful model - best so far from Herpa !
The media could not be loaded. This is a corrected review as I mistakenly had the horizontal stabilisers fixed the wrong way round so the finished model did not look correct. The parts were also tricky to slot in.But, once corrected, the result is beautiful. Absolutely stunning - by far the best model I have from the Herpa range.Very happy. Wish there were more Swissair aircraft in this 1:125 scale.

Was hier angeboten wird, bekommt man auch.Positiv überrascht Qualität und Details sind wie von Herpa wieder exquisit.War bis jetzt auch nie von Herpa enttäuscht worden.Lieferung war schnell.(Aufbau und Passung der teile wird noch getestet da dies ein Geschenk ist)Nachtrag:Passung und zusammbau ohne Probleme. Sieht top aus!Leider war durch den Bolo transport die OVP demoliert, was jedoch dem Flugzeug kein schaden zugefügt hat! Mit anderen Worten das Flugzeug ist super Geschütz.
