This item has made it easier to get my wife up and out of beds, loungers, car, etc. without stressing armpits, elbows, jerking arms, etc. It is a smoother process all together. It appears to be atructurally sound but I am careful anyway. In a perfect world, it would be a metal frame with rubberized grips.

This is excellent! I bought it just in case my dad fell with his Parkinson’s. He did fall and it was very helpful at pulling him back up. I would order it again in a heartbeat!

I am giving this product a 5, because I think this tool could help in some situations. The person you are trying to lift must be strong enough to hold on to during the lifting process. This lift product was not helpful for what I purchased it for.

Hubby has Parkinson’s and has difficulty getting up out of chairs. It was putting too much strain on my back to try to lift him without this device. With this device, I am able to actually sit in a chair in front of him and have him pull up. It lessons the pull on my back and gets him out of his chair fairly easy.

The person needs to be able to hold their end and you hold your end to get up. It's sturdy and doesn't bend and this is nice.
