The bristles are very soft. The small stippling brushbis just right for applying concealer with a powder foundation. The others are great for foundation, blush or highlighter. I priced out same types at the store and this was an excellent bargain! ( single brush can cost as much or more than this whole set)

I really like these. They came nicely packaged, a bristle protecting net thing under a sleeve inside the box. The heads are soooo soft, really really soft, and I noticed exactly only 3 shed hairs. Also, and this is weird, but when I hold all three together and they click clack together in my hands, they scratch my brain right it needs it. Very satisfying. The feel of them in the hand is just very nice.
