Ordered this yesterday and received it today. So far this scooter is living up to my expectations. I watched a YouTube video ahead of time on how to unbox and set up the scooter. This helped a lot. I had a few moments where I could not figure out how to take the scooter apart, but rewatched the video and all questions were answered. The battery came with some power in it, so we were able to test out driving the scooter a bit. My husband is 5'10 and fits well on the scooter with the seat in it's highest position. I am able to fit the scooter easily in my little SUV crossover with not problem as long as the back seat is down. I have a very small trunk space and rarely have anyone in the back seat so this is no problem. Will see how the Silver Streak handles an outdoor fair this weekend.

I bought this for my mom so she could get out of the house and enjoy things she was accustomed to doing. Due to double knee replacement and back surgery, her mobility is not the same. This scooter is perfect! It’s very quiet, the battery last a very long time and it was very easy to put together. I have to transport it in my car which cases me to remove the seat and battery so I can lift and place in my trunk…easy peasy! My mother is much happier and so am I…this was a GREAT purchase.

This was such a game changer for my Mom. She was so sad after having a stroke that affected her mobility. Not having the ability to engage in physical activity, like grocery shopping or taking a stroll in the neighborhood, really took a toll on her. I convinced her to try this little mobility scooter. It arrived 2 days later and we finally saw some joy in Mom’s eyes. She practiced scooting around in the house first, all the while smiling and giggling. She was so impressed with how easy it was to maneuver. She loved the horn and the headlights too! The same day the scooter arrived, my mother went scooting into a doctor’s appointment. Several people remarked that they’d like to have one too. This scooter absolutely changed my mother’s outlook on life. Good price point, quick delivery, easy assembly, long lasting battery charge, and it fit in the back of a small SUV without affecting the amount of seating, Get this for a loved one! You’ll be happy you did!

These are pretty good scooters for the price. This is our second one. Some things to be aware of. Our first Vive scooter lasted about two and a half years. We had another brand that lasted five, but that scooter currently costs more than twice as much as the Vive. The plastic edges chip easily and the seat cover snaps don’t hold. The electric system is cheap. The buttons for the horn and light become dislodged easily. The battery indicator started dying about 18 months in. Nevertheless, the scooter travels well, moves steadily, has survived various plane flights, fits in our car, and we got our money’s worth out of it. That’s why we got another one.

We bought this scooter as a gift for my brother. who lives in NYC, while we live in Florida. He has been gradually losing mobility for the past several years to the point where now, at not quite age 65, he can’t safely navigate out onto the street with his rollater walker in his be neighborhood. He was excited about the prospect of new mobility, so when the scooter came with a brake defect—it was so disappointing!!! (Hence the four stars on my original rating.) However, my sister-in-law contacted the company and supplied a video of the problem. Vive arranged for them to return the original scooter and then shipped a new one fairly quickly. The new one arrived yesterday. They charged it up overnight and my brother is thrilled!!! They’ve been exploring all morning. He finally has his independence back! For his privacy, I blocked out his face in the photo, but if you could see it, his expression is so happy!!! Makes a big sister feel wonderful!! The scooter is easy-to-use, maneuverable, compact, sturdy, and pretty fast, too!Update: ZERO STARS!!! The second day my brother took out the replacement scooter, all excited and happy, it suddenly stopped working for no apparent reason!!! The battery was fully charged, the weather was clear, the pavement was level, but my brother and SIL were STRANDED two blocks from their apartment! My 60-something SIL had to PUSH my brother on the scooter all the way back to their building!!! We don’t want another replacement — just a refund. Bolo has assured me that they’ll refund the price if Vive doesn’t, and I’ve already ordered the Pride Go-Go S-74 as a substitute for my brother. (I bought my other brother this model 4 years ago and it’s still going strong.)

I was skeptical about the ability to climb a grade since my driveway is 7% grade and I'm 190 pounds. Amazingly, it makes it up the slope !!! I'm sure that someone much lighter could make it up a 9% grade as claimed. Extremely easy to put together out of the box. I didn't need the instructions. Comes apart in 5 sections and fits in my Honda Civic trunk. The "horn" is an absolute joke, it's actually a tiny electronic beep. Aside from that, it's well engineered and put together. Perfect for walking my dog while I have a broken foot.

It was a life savior on our vacation! Ran perfect. If anything I wish that the seat was a bit higher for a bit more leg room but all in all it is wonderful and worth the cost. People would stop me and ask where I got it. When I said that I bought it from Bolo they were amazed!

Purchased this for my mother in law because she is unable to walk very far. Great features and easy to put together. You can control how fast it goes. The seat turns to the side so your able to get out. People are always asking where she got it. She is able to back it out from her room. Love the color , seat is very comfortable and easy to break down , if you need to travel. When she is not using , she always keeps it plugged up.

I had used it every day since march. Imagine my horror when I switched it on in the bathroom to find it completely dead. I managed to get back to my room and get onto my spare one, but as an OAP and completely iMobile I was frightened.I contacted Vive who replied very quickly telling me what to do, by pressing a reset button.but I'm reluctant to use it Incase it happens again. I don't know what the answer is. But be aware of this happening if you purchase one.Over all before this happened I was very pleased with it , it is a good looking machine and seemed to work well.
