And still feeling awful. That's No gluten, dairy, sugar, caffeine or starch.Turns out, I am highly (red) sensitive to a lot of things I was eating, like almonds🤦♀️. Thank heaven coconut is OK!I would recommend getting the most checked as possible. When I registered the test, I got an option to buy more of a test for $20.I did, and it was SO worth it.Just a few strands of hair sent in, a few days wait, and they email you results with a action plan!It is so worth it.I bought one off of the Bolo UK, for one of my friends, she is so excited! Again, she has felt crappy for years. Turns out she is "highly sensitive " to almost everything around her. She has changed her diet and already feeling a bit better. It hasn't even been a week. She has told her friends who have ordered tests!I tell checkers at the grocery store about this. Our favorite waitress. My family back in another state, that thought I was a hypochondriac 😆Hey listen, I got some REALLY bad stuff going on in my gut. Stuff hospitals deal with, and have been blown off by a mean ER Dr. Twice.I can't wait to give these results to my NP who has been trying to help me.My general allergy test showed up negative. This test goes so much deeper!I had over 3 pages in red. Off the charts.A bunch in orange (moderately reactive) and a bunch in green - good.It is a wonderful place to start to try and help yourself, or help your Dr help you.It goes into additives, skin care, heavy metals, food, etc.Again, I highly recommend this test. I bought the $89. And added more to the test when I was offered the chance to. Just buy the biggest most things tested, test there is. Especially if you have stuff like fibromyalgia (I have it) or any other auto immune disease. You won't be sorry. And don't be scared with what you see in the results. It's a great place to start. And make positive changes. Some of those vitamins we take, might be doing more harm than good. Just saying.Buy the test!10 stars if possible
1.0 out of 5 stars Not Useful At All
I gave 1 star because the instructions were clear and results were provided timely after hair sample was received. But that’s where the positives stop. For what this kit cost, shipping should’ve been included and it was not. It’s another $9 to send with tracking. I also paid the additional $20 for some add on testing. This test is for sensitivity, not allergy. And things I know I have allergies to, did not show up as sensitivities. I do not understand how you can be allergic, but not sensitive? I get that you could be sensitive but not allergic. My overall impression is that this testing is merely a gateway to sell you more products based on your results. I think it would have been about the same price just to go get a full allergy panel ran at the doctors office and that info would be much more useful than the results of this test. All in all, I have to say I found it to be a complete waste of money and I can’t imagine it being of any benefit at all. I regret the purchase.
5.0 out of 5 stars Detailed report
I decided to buy this sensitivity test because a doctor told me that it seemed like I had IBS, but couldn't confirm without further expensive testing! The doctor told me I couldn't eat certain foods and had to follow a certain diet; a diet that didn't allow salads! I wanted to know exactly what I was sensitive to, so I could avoid these foods. I received a detailed report of food ingredients that I can't eat, instead of doing a "trial and error" which would have resulted in me having stomach pain again. Some of the ingredients I already knew about, but others I didn't know about. The test was a simple hair sample, that you send in the mail. I would recommend this test to anyone who has IBS or any other digestive condition; it's best to know what will trigger your symptoms and avoid them, instead of hoping for the best. It was money well- spent to gain all the information that the report gave me.
5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing test
This test has helped me so much. I had been struggling for months from stomach pain, gas and bloating. I knew that certain foods triggered the pain but I wasn’t certain which ones. I lost my dad in 2020 from diet and digestive complications and decided that I needed to take action on my own health. I ordered this test but didn’t have high hopes about it. When I got the results, I realized that I cannot eat dairy, gluten and a few other things that I was consuming often. I immediately went to the store and restocked my pantry and fridge with foods I can eat. Within 2 days, I felt exceptionally better. The test also revealed what healthy bacteria and enzymes I was missing, so I found a probiotic that had those. I can honestly say my health and day to day living as dramatically improved. I have since ordered a test for my mom. Get the test. Your body will thank you for it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Insightful and Accurate
I have been dealing with food sensitivities for 10 years and began an elimination diet in 2017. It was a long and sometimes painful process of eliminating and reintroducing foods, only to eliminate again. I did not have high expectations for this test, but wanted to give it a try anyway to see if there were potential sensitives I've been missing. The results were impressive and extremely insightful. In addition to the things I know bother and inflame my system, many of the foods I completely dislike (and I am not a picky eater) were also on the list. But what I found most helpful was the information about my vitamin levels and gut bacteria. I've now started supplements to try and get my levels where they belong.I recommend bioresonance testing for anyone and everyone!
Impressive
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Quick & affective overview of sensitivity’s there was one thing on my results that made no sense to me as it showed it was out of balance/high reactive & was in red which made sense as I have a medical condition that affects me but it was also in the green section for being ok too however I wouldn’t let one thing overshadow how quickly I got my results. I bought this as my dietician asked if I had any sensitivity to any foods or was allergic & I didn’t know & although this test doesn’t check for allergens it definitely gives a baseline of things my body may react to with other symptoms due to my sensitivity to them which now gives my dietician something to go off so would highly recommend getting if u find yourself being asked the same question even if your the one asking yourself if it could be something u have eaten
seemingly random results
The test is relatively simple to complete and send back. Results arrive by email. However, they seem to be random.E.g. I have been clinically diagnosed as having extremely high Iron in my blood and system. I have 1300 ng/mL where the maximum is 300 ng/mL . however, this test said my iron level was normal which could not be more wrong.I am quite intolerant to peanuts. If I eat anything peanut related, my throat closes up and I cant swallow, so I avoid. The results of my test said no problems for peanuts, but problems for hazelnuts.Same for things like lentils (and pulses in general) which I cant eat, but this test said were fine. The test said I had strong intolerance to apples, which I have tested and cant find any evidence for (if I eat 3 apples a day for 3 days, then no apples for 3 days, I see no difference.Im not sure about the science behind these tests, but I was disappointed.
Brilliant - just remember to send it via tracking
Have a comprehensive analysis of what I’m sensitive to. It’s been 3 months and I can say my life has changed. Didn’t even realise how simple things like an apple was highly reactive to my body and my gut health was atrocious. Been focusing on cutting out what I’m sensitive to and improving gut health. The kit was easy to use - only issue was I didn’t send it via tracked delivery. So results were delayed but if you have proof it was delivered even if it’s lost they will send u a new pack.Would 1000% recommend
Really good!
Amazing thing, how interesting and informative externally worth a look!!
Useful to use as a starting point...
TL;DR:=====Long story short, it's interesting and for the price, worth a go but don't treat it as 'fact' in isolation.Long Version:==========So, my wife and I decided to take a punt and order two of the testing kits to see what they revealed; below is the story :)Ordering:=======Being an Bolo purchase, getting the items delivered was the usual painless process; courier comes along and delivers two boxes - one each. Openning the box revealed nothing more than a pair of envelopes and an instruction leaflet.Using:=====The first thing to do is to log onto their website, enter the code from one of the envelopes (call this one the inner envelope - it'll be clear later - and fill in the necessary fields to register the pack.Once done, grab some scissors and get a few strands of hair (more if you have short hair) and put them inside the inner envelope.Put the inner into the outer which is the one that has the postal address on it. (Note here: it would be better if the free post address matched the one on the website, it doesn't so there was a few moments of confusion here). Pop it in the post box and wait for the results. For the second kit, the code was keyed into the website but it reported that it had already been used, so I pinged them a contact message and within a few hours a new code was issued that worked. So, plus point here for the good customer service but a point deducted for it being wrong in the first place. After a week or so an email was received saying that the kit had arrived and the results would be sent over in a few days.A few days later the emails arrived (be sure to keep an eye on your junk mail folder as my wife's was in her junk folder but mine wasn't).Results:======Then comes the reading - and there's a lot here.Broken down into many different sections covering main food categories, a dedicated vegan section (I question the need for this - what's wrong with treating this as just another set of food categories), non food things (plants, bugs etc), metals and gut health. Each section has a breakdown of items contained in it - so Dairy has all manner of cheeses, milks and so on.Each item has a coloured dot indicating High, Medium and Low sensitivity. It's a 60+ page document - so maybe don't just press print!Thoughts:========I have many thoughts about this, the whole process, the validity of the results and what people should do with them but here's the key ones. This is not a medial test - they are quite clear about this as if it were, it would have to have a whole load of additional things alongside it, tests, certifications and the like. This is an alternative medicine test which does - for me at least - give a degree of doubt to the results (but then I'm quite science based, others may be less so).Bioresonance therapy is often debated and there are many websites out there looking at both sides - do your own reading if this is of interest, it's not my place here to promote any sites. The results themselves are a little long winded - there's a whole preamble set of pages (10 or so I think) that could be consolidated down a wee bit. The presentation of the test results is interesting but I don't see why it needs to have 'diets' broken down; I mean, Vegan is simply a diet and there's no need for 4 pages of 'fluff' about what a vegan diet is - just group the foodstuffs along with the main ones, Sauerkraut is not vegan, it's just a food! The E-Numbers section is perhaps the least readable - there's a huge long list of them, pages of it each with a coloured dot. How about rather than just having the E-??? and leaving it there, have the explanation of it underneath each one - rather than having the explanation a few pages later - it's not readable. They should offer a cost-option of having it printed and posted as trying to read a 60+ page PDF on a screen (phone or otherwise) is less than optimal and more often than not, people will simply give up - especially as there's suggestions of performing a food exclusion diet and a bit of page space to keep a log - how do you keep a log on a PDF?The PDFs are accessed just using a link in a browser, that link didn't have any security around it so, theoretically anyone can use the same link to access my results - now, there's nothing personally identifiable on the PDF but it's not what some people would want - as it does have your name on it but nothing else. When it comes down to it, I think there's no harm in having these sort of things and getting the results however, care should be taken when deciding what to do with them. Mine reported that dairy was a big no-no but I've never had any kind of issues with dairy (and there's no way I'm going to cut out cheese!!!). Look at the results and make informed decisions, if you find some alignment with already inferred results (bloated from eating X) then perhaps give it a try cutting it out or, maybe go and visit a dietician or medical professional for a more medical grade test.Long story short, it's interesting and for the price, worth a go but don't treat it as 'fact' in isolation.
