He’s stopped eating and stares off into space. He’s losing function of his back legs and it’s just heartbreaking to watch. He’s only 9 and this is progressing a warp speed since last month.While hem’s not in pain according to the vet, his eyes are empty and lifeless. I know we’re losing him but I’m not willing to give up yet! If you’re reading this, you’re probably not either.I’m writing this review even though it’s only been two days. If your dog is not eating and will not consume one of these chews, you can mash it up with a little water or better yet coconut oil to liquify. Then put it in his mouth with a little dropper. My little guy Kilo gobbles it up with no problem along with a liquid calorie and vitamin supplement. I’m using the coconut oil for calories and because it has fatty acids. I’m not sure if we see any improvement quite yet but I wanted to suggest the liquifying technique to anyone who might skip these because their dog isn’t chewing solid food.I’ll come back with an update in 2 weeks. God speed to all of you dealing with the impossibly heart wrenching, slow and painful loss of a beloved pet with dementia and degenerative nerve issues. I’d hug you all if I could!Update:It’s been two weeks and these had made a DRAMATIC difference. Kilo is eating again, the sparkle is back in his eyes, he’s engaging and meets me at the door, he’s even walking better and not falling. Its been nothing short of a miracle!! We missed a couple days last week and it there was a very noticeable change for the worse - slept all day, refused to eat, staring into space. I’m just speechless and incredibly grateful to this company for giving us more time together and for Kilo, a better quality of life!Update Feb. 9th:We did end up losing Kilo at the end of January. Ultimately, he just stopped eating and drinking altogether. Even mixing the supplement with coconut oil which he loved was a no go. It was just a week from when stopped eating and to his leaving this earth. He died at home in my arms, he was not suffering but his little brain just had run out of steam.I wanted to thank Zesty Paws and the Alpha Brain company for creating this powerful product. It gave us 3 more quality months we never would have had without it. I wish I had known about it sooner. Neurological disease is insidious and cunning. It can easily present as something else and why it was diagnosed only by process of elimination after several months of Kilo going downhill. Cognitive Bites was our Hail Mary Bolo order that actually worked and went to war against the illness, alleviating symptoms for months. My dog was starting to have night time anxiety which I thought might be sun downing. Purchased these and it seemed to do the trick. After a couple of days no more night time anxiety.

OK, so it’s a funny picture. I took just last night, but My sweet girl developed sundown syndrome, feel free to look it up, but these chews are surprisingly effective. I don’t know if she’s “smarter“ but they certainly seem to give her some stress relief. This product contains at least two ingredients that the other similar products do not. Highly highly highly recommend recommended. We are very grateful it has literally improved the quality of our lives.

My boy is picky and yet he likes these. They don't have a smell like other supplements and they are small. He has been taking them for about a year and he is doing will at almost 13 years old so these definitely help! I would recommend!

I had high hopes for these chews after reading the reviews. We have a 14 year old English Springer Spaniel who has started to become confused, lost and anxious. We tried the chews for a full week before stopping. These chews made all of his symptoms much worse than they were. He could not settle down and rest or sleep, constantly pacing and turning circles. A week back off the chews and he is back to the pre-trial self he was. They did not work for us.

Someone gave me this to try on our aging dog & the results were almost immediate. I saw a drastic change in his behavior. He was no longer spacing out. Loved it. So I bought a new tub. This time the treats were a different color & smell and it doesn't seem to be helping. I'm not sure if it was a different product in the tub or the formulation has changed?? But it us definitely different and not working like it did..I'm very disappointed because the first tub worked wonders!UPDATE: Finished that tub & after a little bit it did seem to work. Bought a new tub & it looks & smells like the original & is working perfectly.
