They arrived just in time and worked perfectly. Honestly, they seem even better than the ones I used to get at the supply store. The bands are more flexible and easier to work with, and they even came with a nice metal tip tail comb, which was a great bonus. These are tiny perm rods. They are only 2.25 inches long. Decades ago when I was doing hair, the rods were much longer. I will be wrapping a lot of these short rods on my daughter. She has a lot of hair and the fact that these are so narrow, makes me think I will need another pack to wrap her entire head. The diameter seems accurate, they are simply so short that I will need more, they kind feel like a half rod. I guess it makes sense why the box of papers I got was so tiny as well. Maybe that's just the way it is now, but I haven't seen rods this short before.

Bought to use for my daughter hair, to put a curl on the ends of the braids. As soon as the roller enters the water the black strand becomes undone. I was fearful it would melt but it just comes undone.

In the first packet I opened 8 of the perm rods were broken as the tie which was used to hold the rod in position had snapped off and could not be reattached.
