After weeks of agonizing over which standing punching bag to choose, I am SO HAPPY I picked this one. Like Indiana Jones, I chose wisely.First, I LOVE the design. It looks super sleek with the black and silver, by far the coolest looking of any I saw on the market. Shipping was way faster than expected, and I was fortunate to receive both boxes at the same time.It was easy to put together. The most time-consuming part, as anyone will attest to, is filling the base. We made a funnel out of a small cardboard box and the thick cardboard tube that tin foil rolls come on (we save them for crafts). We only used 3 1/2 50lb bags of play sand - less than $5/bag at the hardware store- and this thing is SOLID. We have it on a painted wood floor, I am sure the suctions do very little if anything at all, but even wailing on it with the hardest punches and lunge kicks it barely moves.I love the low-kick padding, this is a rare feature that I think is absolutely brilliant. Most standing punching bags have about a foot of exposed pole from the base to the bag. Why risk your shins like that?! I think that should always be covered, its definitely safer for kids and short adults like myself, and also gives the perfect proportions to practice low kicks. And it looks better!The bag itself is thinner than I expected, but I think it'll last a long time. I never thought we would have room for one of these, I'm so glad I took the chance on it cuz it takes up way less space than I thought it would, which is great cuz we have a VERY small house. It's set up in the corner of my son's room, looks wicked cool and is totally out of the way.Super fun, great exercise, tough, sleek and gorgeous - worth every single penny. Gikpal was the way to go!!! Thank you for a perfect product!

I recently purchased this bag for my home. It arrived in 2 shipments about 24 hours apart as described by the seller. It was very easy to assemble and is decently sturdy.The suction cups hold pretty well, however if you are a power puncher/kicker the bag will not stick to the floor and will tip over, but it's great for a cardio workout where you're focusing more on speed/technique more than power.The description says you can fill it with sand or water. I don't recommend filling it with water. If you fill it with sand, the description says 205lbs. It only holds 150lbs of sand. The remaining 55lbs comes from the weight of the bag itself.Filling the bag was easy with the right sized funnel. The hole is about the size of a gallon water jug opening so you can fill it rather easily with a funnel. The base is sturdy and doesn't look like I'll need to worry about it cracking or leaking.Overall, I would recommend the bag for home usage. I'm looking forward to being able to kickboxing at home whenever I want.

This punching bag is very easy to install with the clear instruction provided. Even my 11 yr old could do it, LOL. It is convenient with both suction cups and a stand which can take water or sand. So far it works good for young kids without adding water/sand to the stand. And my 11 yr old really liked it and punching it everyday. I would say for some bigger kids and adults, you may want to put weight on the stand. The punching bag is well made and feels sturdy so it should last long. With the affordable price, this is an excellent product.

This punching bag has been one of the best things I’ve bought for my fitness journey. I use it for kickboxing workouts, and it’s helped me burn serious calories and lose a lot of weight. My nine-year-old son is an MMA and needed a punching bag to practice with. I researched every product out there and this one seem to be the best. Well so far it is. Easy to assemble and it does its job. Just make sure you understand that unless you have a very clean and non-porous surface, the suction cups will not work. I assembled the bag in my living room where I have tile and I didn’t need any sand or water at all. The suction cups were phenomenal. But when I move the bag to the garage where the floor was porous, the suction cups were useless. That’s where you need to fill in the bottom container with either water or sand. We moved the bag to his Bedroom where he has the fake wood floors and it works well.

I'm a 74 year old woman who has watched boxing all my life. I currently use a speed bag but thought I'd "perfect" my skills with a body bag. This piece of equipment is ideal. And, since I'm not exactly Jess Willard.....I didn't need to fill the base with water or sand. The suction cups hold beautifully. This gives me a perfect aerobic workout and helps keep my arthritis at bay. I also have a Boxing Gym nearby that works with folks with PARKINSON'S. Boxing really helps them regain some of their coordination. As one other reviewer mentioned, the bag and base come in two separate shipments. I received the bag one day and the base the next. AND....it's a lot easier to put together than IKEA furniture!
