I was super excited to get this machine and ran out to get the garlic. After leaving it on the 'default setting' @9 days it came out hard and crispy! So disappointed. So, I ran back out and got more garlic and set it on 6days. same issue. I am returning it! SIGH! A lot of wasted time, energy and garlic.

Everyone should try making black garlic
This machine has been extremely easy to use. Came in great packaging. I have done quite a few batches. 7 days is perfect for 1.5" bulbs and 10 for 2" bulbs. Anything bigger is a bit tricky. I get about 3.5 to 4lbs in each batch.It's easy to clean. They is a water reservoir externally on the back you need to dump.
