Love the fabric packaging, We reuse it to wrap ice packs for the kids when they have owies but don't want ice against their skin. We have this on subscription and eat probably every other week!

Good product. They cook up quickly, and have a good flavor. I use these as a base for a lot of soups and sauces; goes well with onion and other veggies as a base. My wife didn't like lentils much until I started cooking these for her.

Updated again: The company contacted me and offered to send another bag. The representative was very nice and apologetic. Next bag arrived in better packaging and had no damage at all, so hopefully all items go out in boxes now and now bags. I would order again.Updated: we now have weevils all over the kitchen, and the only food I got this week that didn’t go into the fridge was the lentils. That would also explain the damaged bag.I splurged ordering these because they were American-grown. They arrived a week ahead of the original anticipated date, but they did not survive shipping. The padded envelope they shipped in was fine, but when I pulled the bag out, the bottom had burst, and approximately 3 of the 4 pounds of lentils landed on my floor. The bag, while resealable on the top, doesn’t look like the sturdiest construction.The lentils I managed to save seem ok. Several brown lentils are in the bag as well as a couple green split peas. There are some hulls left, but I can wash those away.Bolo does not allow returns or refunds on this item, so I contacted the seller but haven’t heard back yet. If I knew these were double-bagged, I’d maybe try again.
