Absolutely 5 star. I have a 17 inch neck maybe 17.5 could be 16 who knows, somewhere around there based on the last 30 years.. I injured my rotator cuff which was due to 8 months of repeating the same position mechanically over and over until failure. Healing an injury like this comes with tons of compensation from the Levator, Rhomboids, and lower lats, all of which pull on the neck and traps.This brace is memory foam and depending on how tight I wrap it can go from being just a nice safeguard stopping movement past probably 15% angle, to 5% mobility. Simply letting the neck fall into it can relieve some compression and allow the muscles to finally relax and calm down. Allow the nervous system to stop guarding.The perfect tool to calm a flare up. A supporting brace not a mobilizing brace.

I was looking for relief as my neck and shoulders muscles were very tense and felt weak. I had recently injured my left shoulder, rotator cuff. I was given a sling, but that aggravated it and caused my back to tense in my neck and my shoulders. I used heat to help relax the tension. I was in excruciating pain.I had gone to see a doctor and was referred to PT. In the meantime, I purchased a back brace to help support my back. The back supporter helped, but I was beginning to have trouble lifting my head up. Also, I was getting tingling in my fingers.I went to PT and was put in a traction apparatus and it helped. I only went twice and only on the apparatus once. I was still in pain still using heat to help the tension.I looked into a neck brace and I'm happy I did. This brace is a lifesaver! I put it on and what a difference it made! I had it on for about an hour and the relief was immediate.This brace is simple and it is so comfortable. It is relieving the pain in my shoulders and helping my head from tilting downward. The brace is soft, but holds its shape for ultimate comfort. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I bought this Soft Foam Neck Brace hoping for relief from neck pain and to support my neck while sleeping. It does offer some support and feels soft against the skin, which is a plus. The adjustable fit was easy to manage, and the size (XL, 3” depth) seemed right for my needs.However, after wearing it for a few nights, I found it wasn’t quite firm enough for prolonged use or more serious support. It starts to compress and lose shape over time, especially if you move a lot in your sleep. Also, it gets a bit warm and uncomfortable after a while.Overall, it’s okay for short-term or mild support, but if you need something more durable or firm after an injury, you may want to consider a different collar.

My doctor told me that it's not good to wear a cervical collar at all times because it causes the neck muscles to weaken. However, she said it would be okay for me to wear this for the next few nights as I heal from a recent neck injury, as I wake up every morning in a lot of extra pain because of the way my neck might be bending while I'm asleep.I love how this fits and feels. I'm waking up every morning feeling so much better.

This Neck Brace (I ordered the 2.5" Large) did not come as specified. It's actually almost 3 inches high verses 2.5. See picture. Anyhow, since I had it, I tried it last night and it wasn't a good fit. I did not put it on tight, but loosely around my neck. It was already putting slight pressure on my chin since it's higher than 2.5", just shy of 3" - see pictures. I laid down with it on and after 2 hours, couldn't stand it any longer with the pressure & heat. The foam feels like standard foam vs memory type foam so it's a bit stiff and hard feeling after wearing it for some time. It also heated up. The material seems like polyester so doesn't breath too well. I'm going to see about returning it if I can. Not sure since I tried it for a few hours. It's definitely not the size that is stated or that I ordered. Also, the box arrived a little crushed and looked like it was already opened by someone.

I'm sure this might be better for someone with a shorter neck. I did get the 2.5 inch but honestly don't thing the 3 inch would have been much better. I just felt like it was choking me. Other than the size the material wasn't that comfortable. I don't think it would have been something that I would have enjoyed wearing for a long time. It was kind of itchy. Not recommending but I will say if you have a shorter neck and need something quick this might be a good temporary help but nothing long term.
Not smooth aginst the skin
The material in this one doesn’t glide very well against the skin—you can’t wear it for long before it starts to chafe.
Good product to stop snoring
I think they've sent me a larger neck brace. A 2.5 inch would have been perfect. But I've received a 3 inch brace. I bought this for controlling snoring and it kind of works. Basically when you are sleeping on your back, the lower jaw loosens and opens up as you fall asleep. This is why we start snoring. Wearing a neck brace like this holds the jaw and keeps the mouth closed. There are other face/chin straps for this. But I didn't find them comfortable. This one seems to do the job well. Just be careful about the size and softness when buying so that it is not uncomfortable while sleeping. For 250/- we can experiment and find the best fit.
