(Where are the size charts?)This Bolo Basic quarter zip 'sweatshirt' is a nice looking style and is a quality sewn pullover for wearing over a dress shirt for casual work situations if one is needing a bit of warmth but without too thick of layers.Yes it is fleece on the inside, but is more of a nice light- midweight fabric. ( Nothing like a Carhartt -type of fleece in thickness or the traditional college 'sweatshirt' heavy fabric)The outside of the fleece is more dressy and smooth than a 'sweatshirt' is... casual work setting appropriate.The size ( was a guess) was spot on in fit. (Laying the size XL garment flat, 25" across the front from under the arm seam to opposite side... it tapers down to about 23.5" at the bottom band...25.75" from top of arm to sleeve bottom.) Not too bulky, and not form-fitting like a knit fabric would be, either.The fit is for a 'normal' guy's body (Not the fitted/ athletic /slim kind of 'second skin' that shows every extra helping of food one has eaten) ... hubby is over 60, about 190 pounds and it fits him great.Washes up and dries wonderfully so far, staying true to size. (Wash turned inside out to protect the 1/4 zipper)I would recommend and would purchase again if more colors were available in the size needed.

So, I am a fan of quarter zips for the winter and this one does not disappoint. As I stated in a previous review, I am pleasantly surprised with the style and quality of Bolo Essentials casual wear. I am about 5 11 and 185 lbs. with about a 41-inch chest and not big shoulders, but fairly large arms. I am in that in-between size between medium and large and find the perfect fit for me wearing this quarter zip is with an undershirt and a long sleeve underneath. Wearing it just with a t-shirt underneath it is a little loose for my taste. If you are closer to a 43 to 44 chest, I think it would be perfect with just a t-shirtThe style is a perfect casual look which could work for most occasions casual office, date night, everyday around town wear. The fit is not fitted but is not baggy somewhat in between. In the shoulders, body and arms it is still tight enough that it will highlight your physique a little bit, but not so tight it is restricting. The length is a little past your belt buckle but does not stick out past your coat. The sleeves and waist are hemmed which provide a more fitted look rather than just hanging loose on your wrists and waist. This little design technique takes it from just a sweatshirt to a little dressier option allowing for more occasions to wear it.The material is a midweight cotton that breathes pretty well especially when layering with a long sleeve shirt. in terms of warmth, I would say you would be comfortable with this piece by itself or with a light jacket on most days in the 40's and above anything below that I would say you need a heavier coat. Thesweatshirt comes in many colors to much any outfit or occasion. I liked it so much I bought the burgundy color also. I am thinking about getting a couple more in other colors. The price was great $23.70 which is a steal compared to some of the brand names. Delivery was quick and the sweatshirt came unwrinkled and was ready to wear that day. I really hate when you buy clothes, and they arrive totally wrinkled. i strongly suggest this item and if you are not familiar with Bolo Essentials for casual, comfortable, and affordable clothes I recommend checking them out. You will be happily surprised.

I have several of these shirts. Very comfortable and long wearing. Nice full colors, not heathery. Affordable casual wear, not for dressy occasions. I think they run big on the size. I usually wear XL but that was too big in this garment. L is fine for me.

The black color shrinks more than the light blue, navy blue FYI. From my experience. The light blue keeps its size so I wear it the most. Writing this review after more than 2 years I think. What I mean by this shrinking is the waist rides up more now on the black one.

The material feels decent and it’s comfortable to wear. It’s also true to size—fit me just right with no surprises.It’s nothing fancy, but for something simple and cheap, it does the job well. Definitely worth it if you’re after a basic top without spending much.

Comfort and Appearance
I am very pleased with this item, in fact, I have two. I have just bought them so I have no idea how they will stand up to washing. They appear well made and the material is very good but it is not what I would call fleece. The outside of the garment is smooth. It is very neat looking and the medium size fits perfectly. It has a welt which helps with the fit. The price is competitive. It is a warm and soft material without being bulky. A good buy!
