Easy for me to use/handle and I appreciate that it's not too heavy. Since I already have a B&D drill, I can switch batteries between them which works out great. The only issue I had was putting in the blade and a neighbor showed me how to do it. Other than that, I am very happy with this purchase.

I am pleased that this hedge trimmer works as expected and uses a battery that is compatible with other B&D tools, saving me a lot of money and, at the same time, giving all my B&D tools the benefit of having backup battery power. Good job, B&D!

Light weight, easy to handle, but not as powerful as expected; even 1/4" branches present a challenge for this tool. Don't bother with it unless using it for weeds, small potted plants, etc.The are many better choices from B & D.

Shockingly weak. Black and decker's hedge trimmer works on the same batteries for twice as long and about 4x as strong. Why is this smaller tool so weak?

I bought this item because my old hedge trimmer was electric and being an elderly woman the 100 foot extension cord was getting to heavy to pull around not to mention the trimmer itself was getting heavier. This new one is very convenient, light weight and can be handled with one hand. Would recommend

Have used this for two seasons now and it's still performing well. Clean and oil the blades occasionally and use a full charged battery and you have a winner!
