If it doesn't say "gel," it's not a gel; it's a kind of liquid with alcohol that is intended to effectively sanitize hands fast. Don't expect "orange scent" if it doesn't say orange scent. I can say this, this hand sanitizer is exactly what descriptions are and does exactly what suppose to do. I am not a judge for a value for money and payed whatever was asked. Highly recommend and will buy it again when time will come.

This is a great sanitizer that does not leave your hands sticky. I don’t like sanitizers that contain aloe or lotions that leave a residue. This does not and has a high alcohol content.

You get 4, 12 oz bottles of Purell prime defense, 85% alcohol. They are clear, pump bottles. I think the minimum for safety is 70% alcohol - so this is a bit stronger. I use the pump bottles to refill my purse bottles. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. I receive/accept NO free products or discounts that are not available to all shoppers- ever. I am a verified purchaser - not a paid reviewer. I have been doing honest, trustworthy reviews for well over 25 years with Bolo - posting thousands and thousands of reviews. Purell seems to be the gold standard, however I rated these a 4 because the top of some of them did not seat securely.I much prefer the Purell Spray bottles.

I cannot speak highly enough of this hand sanitizer. I have bottles in my house, bathrooms, car, and even at work. I work in a pediatric clinic, so I use this ALL DAY every day and it is the only sanitizer that doesn't build up on your hands after multiple uses. The other reason that I love this sanitizer is because it is 85% alcohol - and is one of the only sanitizers on the market that actually kills norovirus (the dreaded stomch flu bug). It doesn't have a strong scent (smells like alcohol, of course, but the smell goes away quickly). It is the ONLY sanitizer that I will use at work, at home, and with my children. 100% would recommend!
