The clips for tightening the drawstring are different from the older women's version I have. These ones are much thinner, flimsy, and broke during the first two I used them. I can't recommend this pack anymore as its current version now is designed to be cheaper in quality, rather than more rugged. The opposite of what one would expect with modern outdoor gear.

It was time to upgrade to a 20L and I searched high and low. This backpack is great for day hikes and will be going on an overnight hike in a few weeks. I made an adjustment to the straps on the bottom so it would ride a little bit higher. All the front pockets are useful and the setup in the back is pretty accessible when you're taking a break. I am not the tallest person and most packs ride low, this one sits just right.

Regarding my previous review for shoulder padding - I tried my larger Osprey packs with definitely more shoulder padding, but I liked the way this Fastpack 20 ran - with all the different levels of adjustment. I continued to experiment with the straps and differed the ways I tightened some and loosened others. I'm liking it more now. I'm 5'9", wide shoulders, 155lbs - I'm using the sm/med size. I'm comfy at 10min mile pace with 60oz water, work pants, work gloves, wallet, key chain, 6 Cliff Bars and 2 handheld 30oz bottles. I think a bit of padding on these Fastpack series would be good though - padding on the shoulders.

I wanted a day pack that had trail vest properties and this one does both very well. I did not want a 30 liter bag, I have the UD trail running lightweight vesta, but when I need to carry more gear, this one does the trick. I would buy again. Enwild shipped fast and efficient, good company.
