For whatever reason, she's gotten into my CDs. I like how you can get the radio on it so I don't have to stream from my phone and get interrupted when I get calls. I listen mostly to classical public radio when I'm working. The sound is so much better than the high end bluetooth speakers that I have. I think it sounds so much better as there's a left and a right speaker. It's also kind of classic retro. I used to live in Europe so I have an affection for Phillips products.

Awesome product! This unit replaced an inferior, gently used shelf stereo that degraded for me within two years. I mostly use this Philips stereo for FM jazz radio and didn't even need the multiple, headache antennas for previous unit. No static right out of the box and effortless setup. Sound is crisp and perfect for any living room setting. And other features CD, USB, AUX input, etc. work as expected with durability and reliability that likely will endure for years with gentle wear and tear. Thank you Philips, for this solid and stellar music system!

Very good sound; great bass! Radio reception not great but I am in a 'dead spot', so maybe not a Phillips issue. I am very pleased with the product.

I am absolutely pleased! This little compact system was easy to assemble, efficient with space saving. For me, the sound quality is absolutely wonderful! On the real, I do not usually write reviews, however, I initially was reluctant to make this purchase, but it did not disappoint!!

First, the positives: This system sounds very nice considering the price point. It was easy to set up and its footprint is small.The Negatives: I bought this bookshelf system for one feature. Specifically to be able to play music from my iPod and iPhone. The unit does neither. Nor does the bluetooth work. I set it up and plugged in my iPod. The LED display says its reading the files and then displays a message saying "No USB". I checked the connection (its connected) then tried a different device. Same result. I went to Philips website for support and downloaded the user guide. The guide states the system won't work with some devices (it doesn't specify which). A BIG negative like that should have been mentioned in the product description.Another negative in my opinion is the chintzy feel of the controls and the less than smooth opening and closing of the CD tray. My expectation is this unit won't last very long, however, given the size of the box and the hassle factor to return for a refund, I will just keep it and play CD's for as long as it lasts. Overall I would not recommend this product. If you are still set on buying one, do yourself a favor and make sure it will interface with your MP3 player & bluetooth.**UPDATE**March 31, 2023 I have made several attempts to contact Philips for support to find out why my mp3 devices don't work with USB connection. All I get are automated responses from the company saying they will respond in 24-48 hours. They never actually address my issues. In addition the CD player has begun to make intermittent, loud clicking noises when playing CD's. In light of the poor customer support and poor performance of the unit that was purchased less than 3 months ago, I would strongly recommend AGAINST purchase of this CD player.

Had it for several years, never thought it sounded more than just OK. Looked into using headphones, surprised to find out there's no headphone jack and no way to any use wireless-type headphones, or any type of headphones.

Excelente calidad y sonido, ligero no ocupa mucho espacio. Super recomendable para personas que aún escuchan radio, CD's, y cuenta con bluetooth y entrada para audio. Llegó antes de lo esperando.

Por desgracia, cada vez es más difícil conseguir un buen minicomponente con reproductor de CD a un buen precio. Las opciones son cada vez menos. En México, Phillips solo vende el modelo más básico.Este "Micro Music System TAM4205/37" es una excelente opción para los melomanos que aún cuentan con una buena colección de CD's. El precio es razonable y la calidad es buena.

Fue un regalo a mis padres ya que aún tienen CD’s y me sorprendió su calidad de sonido y lo compacto que es, tanto así que espero hacerme con uno para mí.
