Installation was a breeze, took me less than an hour from the moment I removed vertical blind. Just be sure to cut the bottom part of the fabric as straight as possible, you have alot of room to make mistakes and it will still look great. Instructions were easy to follow.

These blinds worked well before our cat got to them. Assembly took longer than expected but it wasn't hard! Just tedious. The blinds let a little light in still which I like, and they slide easily back and forth. But then we got 2 cats....and let me tell you they LOVE these blinds. So much so they scratched them to heck. Hope I can find some replacement panels. They are just held on by Velcro so hoping so. Also, the Velcro can withstand the weight of a ten pound cat without any issue. Pretty sturdy!

First I'd like to say I am pretty handy. I have over 20+ years of experience building and assembling stuff for my wife. I ALWAYS read the instructions. Also never have found any product "so difficult" to put together. Until today.These curtains are very good-looking but also very hard to put together. Better dust off your engineering skills because you will need them. You need to perfectly align basically a poorly-woven vinyl material that will trick you every single time into thinking you've done well until it comes apart again. Your table will have so many threads that some may fall to the floor without you noticing. I don't know how many times I've taken them out of my dog's mouth. PLEASE be careful if you have little kids that can crawl and take them.Instructions: (One-person assembly assumed)(1) Start by assembling the metal parts that move the panels left and right. Then attach them to the top rail. Then take the WHOLE rail and position it to the wall where you will then mark the holes. I accomplished this effortlessly only because I had a curtain installed before so I used the holes as guides and put a screw in before hanging the rail. No way you can accomplish this with a single person.(2) Drill holes, attach the rail, be done. Easy.(3) Take out the panels and begin attaching them with the velcro lining to the rails. Easy.(4) CUT the panels to your liking. Full stop. These are woven panels. Don't just take some scissors and start ripping because you will tear them apart. Instead, mark with a ruler at both sides from the end up and using a level, make a straight line with a pencil or sharpie then using a sharp box cutter, cut them straight. I lack cutting skills so I had to do this.(5) This is the most frustrating step. Attach the metal weighs/white metal lining to the end of the panel you just cut. Again, this is a woven panel. It will crease and come apart frustrating you as you hopelessly try to insert it LIKE THE INSTRUCTIONS say to do. NOPE. Don't do this. Instead, FOLD the material inside the inner metal strip, secure it with some tape, THEN attempt to slowly insert it inside the rail. Be consistent, a little at a time while holding the other end. It will take you a lot of time, but I took the frustration for you so you don't have to cry while doing it like I did.(6) Annoying last step. Screw microscopic headless screws into the rail you just cried on using a hair-thin hex key. Hopefully I have thin fingers and wasn't much of a problem. But the real problem is, if one of these tiny screws fall, it's both a hazard and a pain in the rear since they can be easily swollen and hard to find again. Do this step on an ample table where you can see what you're doing.Done! (sigh) I love how they look, but I am afraid they won't last long, considering the amount of time I spent putting them on - it's not fair. If you have an enemy, consider giving them as a present to them. It's a guaranteed torture.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Slide ease:I love the idea of the blinds! I installed them inside my SGD frame. The installation is super easy, and the blinds look great. The only downside is the frame that you install along the bottom. The frame keeps falling off.

So worth it! Took me about two hours to take down our own blinds and put these new ones up by myself. Way better than those thin outdated cracked vertical blinds.

The stores near me is either didn’t have what I was looking for, or were too expensive. That’s when I found a these! They arrived super quick and with no damage. The instructions were simple and there was minimal assembly required. They work great, look nice, and keep light out! I recommend this product!

Nice product, easy install, BUT…
Received item in very good condition, very well packed, and very quickly. Assembly and Installation process was a breeze and loved the idea of sliding panels for my patio door rather than having those old fashioned vertical blinds or drapes. A little disappointed that these are more opaque that I thought but color was on point with description and fits in with my decor very nicely. The only issue is that within one week of installation, the vertical side of fabric panel where wand is located has already began to unravel…I guess that happens from using wand frequently or when the wind moves the panels. Make sure that you’re at a distance in front of the panel and then slide panels with wand which is a little inconvenient. Suggestion to seller to provide or offer a plastic to insert at each end of the panels to protect the panels and avoid this situation and make this product a 5 stars! I don’t know how long these will last…luckily you can change the fabric panels at a cost and still keep track. Overall, you get for what you pay and at this price point, you’re nowhere near the price you’d pay at local stores so still happy with my purchase.Tip: measure each panel separately once installed BEFORE cutting, mark each one to desired length and then re-install as your wall trimmings could be off a little in precise measurement.
