These pictures show $10 worth of gelt!!Only one of the 8 bags had more than three coins in it. Only one came up to the weight printed on the tags. Altogether, there were a total of 26 coins in 8 bags.It would have been embarrassing to give the bags to the recipient to open in front of other people. I don't have time to reorder and go again, so I am going to use these, but you don't need to put up with this kind of cheating. Whoever packed these for shipping saw that the bags were virtually empty, but the packed and shipped them anyway.At this rate the gelt cost a whopping $0.42 each! That is a rip off, I could have given real quarters and it would have cost 40% as much!!

The famous Jew, Joan Rivers, used to say, "Can we talk?" before she'd launch into a joke about being candid about something.Can we talk about gelt?I don't think Hanukkah gelt has every been my favorite chocolate. It's usually way too sugary and waxy to really be very good. It's like Christian Easter chocolate. Honestly terrible. So keep your expectations realistic.The reason I'm giving these gelt coins five stars is that they are just like the gelt I grew up with, and they have the beautiful embossed gold foil. For that, they are the perfect chocolate gelt coins.I got two boxes of these for all the students at my son's school during a Hanukkah presentation and for playing Dreidel. The kids loved them. Just be aware they are not for kids with a dairy or nut allergy.

The picture was deceiving...it is not at all what I received, but... I guess the description is what I should have paid attention to. One tiny bag with six small bags inside with three coins in each little bag. I have purchased from them before and I got the box with many bags inside last time, I forgot and only ordered the teeny one this time. The chocolates are delicious. The kids will enjoy playing the dreidel game with the coins.

I should have read the reviews and looked closer at this product before buying. I bought this for a Christian group. I knew it said Hanukkah but Jesus was a Jew so that didn’t bother me. I thought there were more than 3 coins per package so that was a bummer. I also was disappointed that the chocolate doesn’t seem fresh. I took off 1 star for the chocolate.

Used these at work to get everyone excited about he holidays and teach them a little bit about what we do for the holidays, made it fun for the whole office and the coins made it all that more special.
