After a month if non stop rain in the Southern U.S. it decided to finally be summer. I ordered this pair of fly traps because the rain caused an abundance of bugs this year. I looked ridiculous using my fly swatter on my patio trying to kill the flies, plus I was not making a dent in the amt of flies. We hung one of these near our patio and within 3 days it was half full of flies and the patio area is fly free! I am delighted, albeit the fly jar is a bit disgusting. My husband said he'd clean it oit and we can reuse the jar and make our own fly bait. You can easily find a recipe on the internet. Great product, it works!!!

I’m always in the garage working on things and the flies were atrocious. I got these and placed them close to my garbage can on the side of the house and one hanging up by my driveway on a plant holder and the flies were almost non existent. It smells horrible especially when there are hundreds of flies inside but it attracts them so much. Will definitely be a continuous buy because I’ve seen a noticeable decrease of them.

It really really works, I have hundreds of flies in there after only a few days. However, it also really smells - like a porta potty. I’m not sure if I’m actually attracting more flies to my garden with it. My recommendation is to put it away from the area you’re experiencing the flies incase it attracts more than you originally had.

I highly buying this. We have a bad fruit fly problem and I’ve tried everything you can think of. This has been the only thing to actually catch and kill them. The smell is absolutely horrendous. I don’t recommend putting it anywhere near your house. I did read that you can put it like 20 foot away from your house and it will draw the flies away from your house and to the trap. fruit flies do indeed turn into maggots as part of their life cycle. i never knew that. I had the trap hanging up and knew that there was no way these ugly white worm looking things can get in it. so they do turn into maggots. Don’t freak out whenever you see them in the trap lol

Worked a little to well. Attracted a whole bunch of flies within minutes of me setting it up. I placed them above the garbage cans and it did its job. Smells horrendous but works perfectly. Left it outside for week and checked on it and it was filled to the top with flies and maggots. Yeah maggots. Great value for the money. Works very very well.

This product works. It works quickly and attracts flies BUT it attracts ALL THE FLIES! I would not recommend this product to residential, or homeowners with small yards or near any seating areas/doors. This thing attracted way more flies than what was on my property. I almost feel like the flies quickly laid eggs and they hatched. There were soooo many that I had to take it down immediately.It also smells once the flies starts getting trapped in there. I had it up for 3 days and already had to throw it out due to the amount of flies it caught. So if you are only getting 2 for $25 and they last a few days then you’ll be spending a lot of money.I won’t be buying this again. I’ll look for another fly trapper.Overall, it works BUT it doesn’t last long and it either attracts every single fly in the neighborhood or it causes flies to lay larva and hatch producing more flies.

These are the only things that help me cut down on my fly problem in the summer. The solution smells fishy and awful but as long as you put it away from where you congregate you’ll never notice it.
