This is my second order of these socks. I live in cold and snowy Wisconsin. These socks are warm, comfortable and sturdy. After two years of constant use, it was time to replace them. Yeah, they are long wearing too. Greta for work or, my passion, hiking.

I wear size 11.5 mens (USA) footwear and usually dislike men’s socks because they are too thin, too short, and offer no cushion inside my work boots. Dickies arctic socks are thick, warm and nice but actually tend to be too big and fall down, which is majorly annoying, plus they make my feet sweat for some reason. No wicking, I guess. Or poor wicking, anyway.I took a chance on these as they are somewhat cheaper. Very thick, very soft, very warm, do provide cushioning all day which actually surprised me, and don’t fall down at all, plus they keep my footsies warm without sweating. Or maybe it wicks the sweat away. Either way, I’m sold. I ordered 4 more packages of them. I can’t say how they’ll hold up long term since I’ve only been using them a week, but so far so good!Update 1-28-24: It’s been a year or more and they still stay up, are still soft and thick and cushion-y. I bought more.

I love these socks because they are warm and come up to mid calk. They are thicker than most socks I have but I wear Crocks which tend to be wider than most shoes. My crocs are size 10 so I measured my foot from heel to toe and medium-large is what I ordered. Perfect fit. I didn't follow direction on washing drying because it's easier to just throw them in with a regular wash and dry. They came out great with no shrinkage. 80% marino wool which was more than most. Will wear them with my boots when there is snow on the ground and it's a cold wintry Vermont day.
