5.0 out of 5 stars seems great

This mouse felt great in my hand and my hand/arm felt comfortable resting and moving with it. I had issues with lag starting on day one and I shipped it back on day two to request a replacement. The support team was responsive and fair. They mentioned that the mouse worked normally (once they had received the one I had sent back) and that I might have an interference issue; they refunded my money. If this mouse works the way it sounds like it does, then I would really like it and recommend it. I don't know from experience, though, and that's a bummer because it felt better in my hand than any other mouse that I've used.Great ergonomics and tip-top customer support.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very comfortable and functions well.

Purchased to replace another brand of trackball input devise. Wanted to avoid the stresses that have led to carpel tunnel in the past. This works very well.Takes a day or two to get used to it's height (moving hand around on desk I he'd to learn to avoid hitting this). But I had tried another brand that was only slightly taller and could not stop knocking that one - how frustrating. This Kensington has not been a problem at all. Tracks well, Very responsive. Comfortable to rest the hand on; buttons function well. Great wireless function with included plug-in USB receiver. (Have not tried the Bluetooth connection possibility.)Wakes up (after 10 minute inactivity) quickly. A bit delayed awakening the first time after an overnight extended computer sleep. But I can live with the 3-4 second wait once a day if it means no recurrence of carpel tunnel symptoms. [UPDATE: Once I changed the battery (even though it was functioning fine), the wakeup time was MUCH quicker. In future, a growing delay in the wakeup time will just be an indication that a battery change will be happening soon thereafter! Glad to have learned that.]Very happy with design, execution and the price.

4.0 out of 5 stars Takes time to adjust, but definitely worth it.

I only recently learned of the "vertical mouse" concept, and I was intrigued to try it out. This is the lowest cost vertical mouse I could find so I figured it would be a good place to start without having to drop $$$$ on some of the more premium options. There's definitely a learning curve and it can be frustrating because you will be less precise at first. However after about 3 work days of using it, I'm starting to get used to it and I can definitely say it is more comfortable than a regular mouse. It has lots of dpi options, moves very smoothly, and only needs a single battery (most of the standard mice I have usually require 2).The only cons I have are minor. I believe this might be just slightly too small for my hands. If I try holding the mouse like in the product pictures, the pinkie rest is too far back and my pinkie ends up dragging on the desk. If I angle my hand to use the pinkie rest, my thumb ends up floating away from the thumb groove. However I've never measured/sized any of the other mice I've used, and I've seemed to naturally settle on a grip I'm comfortable with so no biggie. My only other criticism is this mouse is comically lightweight. Some people may see this as a plus, but I've inadvertently knocked it off my desk a couple times, and it doesn't take a lot of force for it to go flying. So if you're looking at trying a vertical mouse, this is a good first option for the price.

I use this mouse everyday for work. it is super comfortable and my hand never cramps up. although its a vertical mouse it also is sleek and does not catch your eye as an unusually shaped mouse like other ergonomic ones do.

3.0 out of 5 stars Ok mouse, Terrible software, crashed couldn't re-install

    M.0. · February 7, 2024

The mouse fits reasonably well and generally has good ergonomics. But over time the paint wore off and the thing looks really ugly. But more important, the software crashed and wouldn't re-install. After LOTS of messing with it I finally got an OLD version of the software to install and upgraded to a newer version. A royal pain. Lots of people have trouble with the software. Also, the scroll wheel is very sloppy and jumpy. I can't smooth scroll or scroll up just a little. It jumps up a whole page. I don't recommend this mouse.UPDATE: I took the mouse totally apart to discover a design flaw. It looks to me like they made the rubber mouse wheel to stop working well once a little dirt and time passes. It has a silicone outside, the part you touch with your finger, and a hard plastic "axle" part that moves the electronic actuator. The silicone just slides around the hard plastic "axle" and so when you roll the scroll wheel it slips rather than turning the axle resulting in mouse our page movement up and down. So, the mouse over time starts to skip or move much slower than it should. I glued the silicon part to the axle and it works fine now. But how many people are going to do that??IF you want to take it apart and fix it, be aware I had to remove EIGHT screws hidden under the nylon sliders and other sneaky places.

The best vertical mouse at its price

    E. · July 5, 2024

Really solid build, the clicks are solid, comfortable to hold, and great tactile thumb buttons. An amazing buy at around 2k. I was considering the Logitech Lyft and similar mice but this is fine for large hands + less than half the price (I wanted to try out a cheaper vertical mouse first to see if i even like the form factor). The brand is better known abroad than here, so it doesn't show up much in popular reviews and stuff.Regarding ergonomics and use, I bought it because of wrist and hand pain, and this has brought immediate relief. It is just better and easier for your palm in every way, except for gaming, where it isn't really very good, unless you're playing strategy games. For everything else on a desktop, extremely easy, I adapted to it in less than a minute.Overall the best vertical mouse I could have got, easily recommend.

Was very Skeptical due to some of the poor reviews, but it is the best vertical mouse imo

    R.D. · March 3, 2021

In comparison to the Omoton vertical mouse, I love the contour of the kensington mouse, it improves the grip of the mouse and allows people with small hands to have better grip on the mouse. The mouse is very stylish and looks better than any mouse I have ever had. The buttons are more clicky and the scroll wheel is premium. I was very skeptical about recieving the product doa, due to some reviews, but mine came perfectly fine and replaced my broken Omoton vertical mouse. The only thing I want improved on the mouse is bluetooth capability, and higher and beter dpi sensitivity. So far using the mouse in high sensitivity is not as smooth as using it in lower sensitivity. In conclusion, the mouse fits right in on my work from home computer setup, it has alleviated my wrist pain from using horizontal mouses, the looks and the functionality is worth it for the price tag. Functionally better than the last vertical mouse I had, and I hope can last me longer.

    Muy buen mouse mientras duró

    D. · July 11, 2024

    Poor wireless stability

    M.R. · October 27, 2024

It constantly disconnects briefly for a second which makes the mouse pointer stick on the screen. Unplugging the dongle and plugging it back in again resolves the issue for a couple of minutes, and then it starts with the constant disconnects again. It makes it completely unusable.

    It is a good option!

Pros:- The design/ergonomy is the best compared to other options. It fits right in your hand and you have support for your palm as well as your figures.- Mouse is fast and not laggy.- It is made in Taiwan and feels well made.Cons:-Although it is ergonomic, the mouse is small and its length is short! my hand is average, not too big not too small. Saying that my figure tips could not sit on the mouse since it was small and I had to click with the lower parts of my fingures. This is the main problem with this mouse.-clicking is a little bit noisy.-Price is in the above range compared to the competitors.Overall, this is one of the best vertical mouses you can find on Bolo.
