When I was searching for the scooter, my daughter suggest that I should get a red color because it's my favorite color since she was riding her favorite color scooter pink.When the box came I was pleasantly surprised that it was a retail box. It was nicely advertised, I've been shopping online for so long I had forgotten how a retail box looks like, because everything came in a brown paper box. The scooter was ready to use right out of the box, pop the handle up and you're ready to go. The handle bar clicks in tightly into place, the 2 grips doesn't wiggle while operating. The handle grip is made from rubber unlike other brand that uses the foam grip that gets destroyed after a few months. Both wheels are made out of hard rubber and there are benefits to a rubber wheel. It provide a smoother ride because it absorbs more vibrations when compared to silicone wheels, rubber wheels have better traction in the rain whereas silicone wheel have no traction at all. As it is a rubber wheel it's stop power is greater compared to silicone because of the traction so when you need to stop you just ease in the break and it slows down dramatically, if you use too much brute force it will wear down the wheel fast. These scooters aren't made to perform tricks, they're made for leisure so it you treat it well it will last for quite a long time. I'm 5'9 170 lbs and the scooter handle quite nicely with the capacity of 200 lbs. The handle height is at a comfortable level I did not have to hunch my back while riding it. The standing platform is big enough for me to rest my feet while strolling down the road. The sling doesn't get in the way when I'm riding the scooter and when i need to carry the scooter it's always there ready to be use. Hope this provide you enough insight to make your decisions when purchasing your scooter.

This scooter is a great option to keep your space organized. We opted to hang on peg board when not in use and we love having the scooters off the ground. Great compact size and easy to fold. Adjustable handlebar height is perfect for our kids ages 6 & 9 (and even sturdy enough for me and my husband to ride around on)! Overall very happy with this purchase!

Great quality scooter, my 10 year old daughter is 5’2” and this scooter fits her great! The adjustable height handlebars are great, she is very very hard on anything she uses like dirt bikes to speed roller skates to scooters. THIS one holds up to all of her wear and tear and aggressiveness, she was jumping curbs at high speeds in no time. She likes how smooth and fast the larger wheeled scooter travels compared to her VERY outdated smaller wheeled scooter. She used it in grass and dirt quite a bit as well, would highly recommend this item.

Purchased this gorgeous scooter over a month ago for my son's 12th birthday. Silly me, I waited til the night before his birthday (tonight) to open it up so I could set it up infront of his bedroom door so it would be the first thing he sees when he wakes up. Only problem is, one handle bar (out of the box) is so warped that I can't even get it to fit into the frame and the other handle is missing the lock button so I can't get it to stay in place. Had I known the manufacturers would send me a defective $60+ scooter to me for my son's birthday I would've opened it much sooner to review. Now, my son will not get to enjoy his special scooter on his special day and seeing as though I am only able to leave a review rather than contact the seller I'm down $60+ dollars and what could have been a stellar birthday gift.

I bought this scooter for my 9 year old and had some challenges with delivery. I got a replacement sent by Bolo, and received the original and the replacement scooter within 2 days of each other. That being said, I was happy enough with the product, that I ended up keeping both scooters and paying for them both. The scooter is well built, has good suspension for price and looks nice. My 9 year old and 11 year old, both love the scooter.I would definitely recommend this scooter for teens, for adults however, i would say get a more expensive one.

My nephew (who I purchased this for) is rough on everything, breaks his bike everyday of the week. So, I bought him this scooter as b day present hoping it would be more reliable. Of course he breaks the brake within a month, but the rest of the scooter could handle his rough riding.... That is until he got it stolen. But that's another exasperating tale. Overall good scooter, questionable owner lol

I bought this for my 10 year old, he’s 4ft 7inches. After much research I decided to go with a Renegade which seems sturdy and would accommodate growth. Upon receiving the scooter it was completely set up. All I had to do was adjust the handle bars and tighten up a few knobs. Easy set up and definitely will give him room for growth. Seriously set up took 5 minutes if that... He was on his scooter right out of the box. Carrying strap is a plus. Wheels are durable and foot bed is wide which is great. He’s happy.. I’m Happy!!

For a manual scooter of this price, it is fairly hard to beat. It’s easy to break down, easy to transport, and fun to ride. But in terms of the positives that stops there, I am on my second scooter after the brake on the first one completely broken, fell off after the first couple weeks. The second one was much better, but after about a month and a half the brake fell off, just like the first one. This obviously means I have to use my foot to actually stop the scooter, especially when I’m going fast. It can become difficult and dangerous. If you have an additional $20 or so in the budget, then I would recommend buying something slightly better than this however, if you don’t, then this is a great starter scooter, got me to and from college classes and all around campus easily.

the breaks not working properly , send the wrong color ...sooooo many issues
Not great. Not terrible.
First, I ordered a RED version and was sent a PINK version instead. Arranged for an exchange with Bolo to get a replacement RED and shipped PINK version back. Replacement arrived and it was GREEN CANO version instead of RED. Decided to just keep it as it’s not worth the headache to go through the return process again.As for the quality? Seems pretty good all around EXCEPT the folding lock latch. The latch has a manual tightness knob to adjust for your personal preference. However, it seems to always be either too tight and makes it impossible to fold the scooter or too loose and makes it too easy for the scooter to fold accidentally (if riding on some bumpy terrain).We have 1 month to figure out if we are going to keep it, but I’m guessing it will be returned for safety reasons because of the folding mechanism issue.
