The masks fit perfectly fine and do what they are supposed to do. They even have an adjustable metal piece that can fit the shape of your nose. To address the “Made in Wuhan” label, yes, on the box it says it’s from Wuhan, China. It would make sense why one would flinch but honestly, people, HOLD ONTO FACTS AND NOT FEAR! Covid-19/Coronavirus is spread primarily through droplets generated when an infected person coughs or sneezes. If the virus makes its way to a surface, it needs an active host for it to live and transmit itself onto others. With that being said, it doesn't live on surfaces for very long! Still not convinced? Put the facts and logic together - it takes 4 days for shipments to make it from China to the U.S. at the fastest speed. Add in the days it sat in a warehouse or in holding with additional days it took to be delivered to you. Though it’s not entirely impossible, it’s very, VERY UNLIKELY you would contract the virus by ordering and wearing these masks. I’m shocked at how folks are so naive to the fact that you have a much higher risk contracting Covid-19 here in the U.S., by not washing your hands or failing to practice social distancing, than ordering packages from China.If it puts you at ease, buy this and leave it alone for 5 days before opening. According to different health article guidelines (including the CDC’s) that’s the most days I’ve read that the virus can live on a surface.

I bought myself a box of these because they were available after being forced into the world with just a scarf and gloves and feeling very unsafe because people don't seem to be able to grasp DISTANCE. I grabbed a box for my parents as well because they are elderly. The worst that could happen would be I wasted some money. These were the only masks available at the time. (More on that below)THE GOOD NEWS: 1) They arrived days before they were "due." Faster than Bolo has gotten me anything in over a year. 2) They are 3-ply, like the page shows, and they are basic 1-use, disposable masks for general use (not medical, nothing fancy, but exactly what a person running errands or picking up things from the drive through, walking the dog, etc might require.) 3) I don't think the price is outrageous, given how expensive (and elusive - downright impossible to find) masks have been and currently still are. (I got these masks, but I cannot get toilet paper, vegetables, fruit - fresh or frozen and not even frozen pizza...) 4) Not only well-made for a disposable mask but quite comfortable - they fit over both nose and mouth, and the ear loops don't bother me at all, even with glasses on all day too. AND THEY STAY ON, unlike some of the masks that droop and require putting your hands near your face to pull them back into place. These stay put until you take them off. I tested this by spraying one wildly with bleach, letting it dry and wearing it around my house. The rest are in quarantine for another day. But I'm thrilled with my purchase.The bad: 1) The box is not sealed tightly or wrapped. This may be because exposure to air is a better way to ensure any germs die rather than sealing them in and keeping them alive with humidity, but you should know that the cardboard box is the only thing between the masks and the world before they get to you. 2) (not really bad, but noteworthy:) They are slightly pricey, but so is everything right now. I've paid more for everything recently, and why would masks be an exception? At less than a dollar per mask, it seemed worthwhile to me - enough so that I may buy another box because 50 won't last long if we do this for the timeframes currently being noted. I don't want to hog masks, but if people won't buy them because of their origin, I'll be more greedy.FINALLY, I have something to say about Wuhan: THANK YOU FOR SELLING US MASKS. Wuhan is far away. Even if they had COVID19 near them or an infected worker making them, given the arid nature of the packaging, the spores wouldn't stand the time it takes for shipping, being stocked in a warehouse and then delivery to your house. I let everything "new" in my house take a 3-day break before use (food, mail, etc.) These are as risky as anything else because we don't have enough tests in the US and you have no idea who might be infected (that's why it's a global pandemic.) If you feel better not having a mask, don't buy them, but don't assume that because you find a mask made in the US that it's safe -- take precautions with everything. That's how we'll make it through this. Take care of yourself and take care of other people (perhaps by wearing a mask.) Blaming, giving 1-star ratings without purchasing or seeing the item or generally making uninformed comments doesn't help anyone. We should remember: we're truly all in this together.

NONE of the masks under this SKU is made in Wuhan, but from several factories across China, where most of the world’s masks are made, and where COVID-19 is already well under control.The distributor Jointown is one of the largest pharmaceutical distributors in China, and YES its headquarter is in Wuhan, and YES a lot of team members are from Wuhan and they haven’t rested for one day before they changed their role to supply the world with China PPE supplies, simply because they understand deeply what COVID-19 is and they take on the mission to equip everyone in the world with weapons to fight against the virus!I’m one of the Jointown project US team members who contributed in making this happen and this is not an official statement from Jointown but something I would like to stand out personally regarding this perticular face mask being thrown away simply because it is associated with Wuhan.This is a team with members located across 5 continents, and this team has been working relentlessly 24/7 from January to support the Chinese hospitals with medical supplies from all over the world, and this team has been working even harder to support the world with PPE supplies. This team consists of tens of thousands of people including staff members from Jointown Group domestic and overseas offices, from many factories across China, from logistics partners across the world, from Bolo world-wide sourcing team and fulfillment centers, and numerous warm-hearted volunteers from all over the world! This team brought in the first batch of surgical masks to New York back in March 10, and this team landed the first Cargo Plane full of PPE supplies 5 days earlier than first FEMA’s cargo plane, and this team has landed in US over a dozen Beoing 747 cargo planes’ supplies since then, and still is this team who stood quietly behind many PPE donation efforts and applauded to themselves when praised by the president and many governors public again and again.Everyone of the team felt rewarded with every recognition of the efforts we made, while felt heart-broken when we see the precious products being tossed away simply because of its origin.Every piece of the masks is precious because they went through so many challenges to meet both China and overseas regulations, rocketing material and shipping costs and COVID-impacted distribution channels to reach every customer. Any waste of the masks means other people loses a chance to protect themselves.Regardless where we are from, we are all GLOBAL CITIZEN, and we all need play our own part well in this war against our common enemy: COVID-19, and in this war, we are all members of ONE TEAM!
