It doesn’t have any strong smell and it’s lightweight which is why I love it so much. Doesn’t leave any sticky residue but instead leave your skin feeling soft and looking vibrant. I use it mostly at nights after which I apply my Cerave PM moisturizer. I got it to help with the hyperpigmentation on my face so I’ll be back to provide an update about how effective it is few weeks from now.

So I love this product. It's non comedogenic and it does take away hyperpigmentation with regular use. I have learned that it can pill in combination with certain ingredients in my other products...it seems to pill in combination with B5- panthenol. It doesn't pill otherwise.

Im African American and just started to use this product about 4 days. I use it twice a day. First the product is well formulated. It contains hydrating ingredients (sodium hyaluronate, glycerin, water,etc) that permeate the skin barrier nicely. It plays well with other serums that I use. I use this after I use my SKII first treatment essence. I have already noticed that the hyperpigmented spots are drying and peeling. So they will peel away and reveal new skin. I will continue to update my feedback every two weeks. Remember to use sunscreen with this product. I have sensitive skin and have not noticed any skin sensitivity or dryness. I do use a moisturizer and sunscreen after I apply this.12/13/2024: I had a follow up appointment with my esthetician who noticed an immediate difference in the hyperpigmented spots and overall health of my skin. The spots have lightened in two weeks. Yes they are still there as this is not a miracle product. It sloughly exfoliates the dark spots and every time you wash your face, you will see dead skin cells falling off and revealing fresh dewy skin. Another thing, is that it is not disturbing my very sensitive skin. I dont use any strong actives ( retin a, tretinoin, glycolic acid), so this does not impact me. If you are on strong actives, you may notice a slight sensitivity. I will come back in two weeks.01/07/2025: In the last 3 weeks, lots of dead skin have been sloughing off and the darks spots have lightened even more. My skin is sensitive and I do feel that it has slightly disturned my skin barrier especially since its winter. I will reduce my use to once a day at night. I was using it twice a day. I get monthly hydrafacials and my esthetician noticed that my skin was tighter. I will stop the product one week before my next hydrafacials. If you receive any skin care procedure, I recommend that you do the same. Other than that, so far so good. Most of the dark spots have lightened and even the 1 raised scar has flattened. This product is very good.

I read all the reviews on how there seem to be something growing in the product when it arrives. However, I recall reading one review that said you needed to shake and warm it per instructions. Well, I decided to get this thinking maybe others aren’t reading the instructions, WRONG! No where does the instructions say shake it or warm it up. I received a product that also looked like mold, fungus, yeast, etc. was growing inside. Shaking it didn’t do anything and I put it in some warm water for about 2 minutes that did nothing. I definitely returned this immediately though I doubt I would’ve used it after seeing that growth if whatever was growing inside it dissipated after being warmed. It looked gross and just look the numerous photos posted by others. QA needs to re-evaluate this product or recall it because too many people are getting that growth in the serum which shouldn’t be the case

I have been using this for a few weeks now, and I am not seeing much of a difference in the appearance of my scars. I see a SLIGHT change, but nothing crazy. I do plan on continuing to use the product until I finish the bottle and if I see change, I will repurchase. It feels very nice on the skin and absorbs well. I read that tranexamic acid helps with scars so I PRAY that I see some change.

First: this serum does seem to reduce redness and scarring. I'm terrible about picking at my skin (even the tiniest dot), so this helps undo some of the discoloration and potential scarring. I'd say it works!Second: I did a bunch of research about ingredients and this serum is a very good value for the money. It feels weird to buy a random brand on Bolo (vs. something at Sephora) but I'm tired of paying for marketing and hype. Also, while it's not super-important to me, the bottle and pump feel high-end.And third: I have insanely sensitive skin -- I can barely use anything. No, seriously, I had a 5-day medical patch test and figured out that something like 90% of skincare products are a no-go for me (even CereVe). This serum does not contain any ingredients that bother me and it's proven out on my skin: no irritation. Most people are not as sensitive, but if you are, it's so great to find products that work. Note: I stay out of the sun.This is my unsolicited review, U.S. customer.

The product is great for my melasma (pigmentation). This was the second time I have ordered. But I found out today I could have ordered it with the half price of Bolo price from the narium company directly by online. I feel Bolo over charging too much. :( next time I won't order it through Bolo.
