It’s perfect for floors and carpets. It doesn’t load you down with all the attachments to push around like some uprights. This is used in a small commercial office with rugs, carpets, and bare floors.

After six months it will not turn on. I've tried several working outlets. It's past the return period so I guess I'm just screwed. Too expensive to just stop working.

I needed a vacuum cleaner for deep carpeting and that exactly what I got !!. I use level 6 to keep the vacuum from pulling the carpet. That's the highest I can raise the vacuum from the floor surface. If you need a work horse, this is the cleaner for the job. I'm also pleased that the weight of this vacuum is much lighter than my previous Electrolux vacuum.

I've had 2 of these over a 30 year period! Lots and lots of suction. No fancy things, just gets your carpet clean and fluffy! And by clean I mean I have 6 dogs and I keep my carpet spotless. Can't get a better plain vacuum for any price!

First, I love the vacuum, we use it in our business. We purchased it about 2 years ago and only recently had an issue with it. I contacted customer service (using the 1-800 number) and they answered right away. They were SO helpful and kind! I'm honestly blown away! I would HIGHLY recommend using this company and their products. We have other Bissell products (carpet cleaners, other vacuums, etc) and they're always amazing quality and durability, but this customer service experience now means 1000% we'll always shop with Bissell FIRST! Thank you!

Looks like it's out of the 70's, built like it was too. Extremely happy with this. We've tried everything on our area rugs. 3 pets, all shed like mad. I can't say enough good things about this Vacuum. I tell everyone to get it. Not only does it pull up every last hair. it reconditioned our rugs to look and better yet FEEL like new. MUST have for pet owners. I guarantee you wont be disappointed. Wish I bought this years ago!

Good basic vacuum cleaner. Loud. Long cord. Easy empty bag; however, it can be dusty when emptying so recommend emptying the bag outdoors. The handle connections seem a little weak and am afraid they may break eventually. Good vacuum for the price. Being used in a church for daily cleaning.
Received exactly what we had expected.
The vacuum arrived very quickly, easy to assemble, and our dusty carpets are gone, and now we have a well vacuumed showroom floor area.

I purchased this sept 2024 5 months old and the bottom parts just fell apart can no longer use it it made a very loud bang before the bottom plastic just flew apart crazy
