Initially I had to work with it as it would not spin. It required reverse spinning of blades and rubber gear to tighten it so it would spin. I would purchase again.

Update: just bc mine didn’t fit doesn’t mean yours won’t. I wrote an honest review below and they gave me a refund/asked how to better their product etc. Very good company.It doesn’t fit well. This was how our last one was. I thought maybe bc it was used a lot that was why it didn’t fit well so I ordered a new one and same problem. I don’t know if I’ll try to return it.

I hand clean each part of my blender every time I use it, and have owned Nutribullet’s for years and never encountered this problem. The seal from the blender is full of black mold. And I clean the blender immediately after every use with scorching water and good dish soap. I have tried to scrub the black mold off, soak it in bleach and detergent to remove it, but it’s still there and still smells. Absolutely disgusting. Do not buy this product.
