As other reviewers mention, it lathers VERY well, so not much is required to get a good one going. Overall, the scent is pleasant and floral, but not overpowering like some other scents or brands might be. This replaces a specific coconut oil moisturizing shampoo, so it does leave less oil in your hair, but that's kind of the point, so I'd say it does its job. Size-wise, the price-per-ounce is great, and the dispenser head is made of quality enough plastic that it won't snap on you if you are tough on your stuff (silly I know, but still worth mentioning as I've had some snap on us with forceful pumping near the end of the bottle). We haven't tried the matching conditioner yet, but look forward to giving it a try based on the good experience with this rose hips shampoo.

A little goes a long way. Suds up nice and rinses out, leaving my hair soft and silky. Love the nice soft fragrance. My scalp does not get irritated or itchy, which some shampoos have done in the past. Very happy with this purchase!
