I got both this and the spaghetti marinara with beef thing they'd be the same, flavor-wise. Not so much...one isn't necessarily better than the other, they are just different so i could pack both for a longer trip and not feel like i'm eating the same thing too many times.I'll be buying this one again for sure

Easy to prepare, great taste, perfect for camping trips! This pouch is definitely not two servings though, my 120 lbs of self can easily eat more than one pouch for dinner after a day of hike. Please prepare enough portion for yourself.

Bought this to test for outdoor adventures. Taste is excellent, I read some reviews on water amounts and used about a quarter cup less and it came out perfect. Light weight package. Easy to make by following instructions. I will buy again to stock up my pack. Price is about the same as I find in retail stores. I did find it a little bland, but I love a lot of pepper on my foods to add some spicy.

I've sampled about four different Mountain House meals so far. This is the best one so far. It's very good. I enjoy it about as much as I'd enjoy a canned or frozen lasagna, so I think I'd have to go to an Italian restaurant to do better than this. Honestly I have to avoid the temptation to eat these every day. Preparation is simple. You just pour boiling water and eat it out of the bag. The nice thing about Mountain House is they have a shelf life that spans multiple decades. So if I buy a bunch of these, I can feel secure that I'll live a little longer and in comfort when the zombie apocalypse comes.

Reviewed descriptions and reviews on all ready made and freeze dried foods. The beef lasagna rated well so gave it a shot as you don’t need electricity to heat it up. Tasted as good and was better than some frozen lasagna. Noodles did not turn out gummy and the meat sauce was good.Was it as good as your neighborhood Italian place? No, but for someone who travels a lot or primitive camps out it’s a very nice go to. Wish I could have added grated mozzarella to kick it up another notch, but overall a good meal and will purchase again.
