I bought this for my husband and he was so excited to try all of the products. He found that the straightener works better than a blow dryer and straightens efficiently. It heats quickly and is easy to use. He appreciates that it came with a travel case that is actually sturdy. He likes the pleasant smell of the wash, claiming it wasn't too harsh.

I have a 6” beard and needed to replace my old straightener. My old brush only had a handful of heated tines...but this one has a lot more which brushes and straightens the beard far more efficiently!My old brush heated to 390, so I was pleasantly surprised to see this one reaches 450 degrees. My first use out of the box, I turned it on, and watched the digital display quickly climb to the 450 temperature mark. After less than a minute, it was ready to use! Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed at the heat output. Despite saying it was 450 degrees, it was much cooler than my old one and did not straighten well. And as many other reviewers pointed out...it had a terrible smell.I thought I would give it a solid week’s use before making any determination . I’m glad I did. I have used it twice a day for nearly a month now. I can say that after about the 10th use, the “smell” disappeared. Whatever manufacturing residue comes on the brush will eventually burn off. I can also say that waiting a few extra minutes for the brush to heat up WILL help! 450 degrees on the digital readout is not the same 450 degrees after letting it sit for 3 minutes! Disappointing, sure, but good to know. Having learned this, I am more than pleased at the effectiveness and efficiency of this beard straightening brush!The soap, for what it’s worth, smells nice. However it does nothing to moisturize my beard. It actually dries it out. I find that my beard washing days requires some extra beard butter at night to replenish my beard.All-in-all I would recommend this beard brush to anyone looking to get the edge on taming some rogue hairs and giving your beard a clean, cut look.First picture is immediately out of the shower. Bought the 6-piece kit. Lord... this is awesome. If you're on the fence about buying this, go ahead. This is the one you want.- the travel case is sturdy and very nice. Everything fits.- the soap is fantastic. Great smell.- the wooden comb is a nice addition- the beard balm is great! Not greasy and smells great- the anti-burn spray is fantastic, and also smells great- the iron: best part. Heats up fast, cools down fast. Bristles are built in a way that the hot parts don't ever touch your skin. Easy to use.My beard game has leveled up. I highly recommend this. All 6 parts are worth the combo.

The control button have never worked properly, yes I’ve read instructions multiple times. I cannot lower the temperature! On/off is very finicky. The brush does help, I have short to medium length beard, seems the brush is too wide to straighten wavy hair along chin line.

UPDATE: The unit I received had problems after 6 weeks. The buttons were inoperable and temp. stayed at 355°. I contacted Tame The Wild company through FB messenger and received a response the same day and they were polite, apologetic and genuinely concerned and had promised to send me a replacement and sent me an order number. No product that has electronics and mechanical parts are 100% flawless and things happen. What matters is the seller standing behind their product and understanding customer satisfaction. I received it today and I cannot express the World Class customer service I received from this company. I don’t often write reviews maybe can count on one hand but when I originally left a 5 star review for this product was because I tried it and was extremely satisfied with the result. I again am extremely satisfied with this beard straightener for reasons I originally posted and continue to give it 5 stars ++ and highly recommend it and the rest of the Tame The Wild products.This is by far the best Beard straightener I have ever used. I have a thick Long 6+” beard and this ceramic heat brush is more than capable of handling the task. The teeth are spaced just right and having 12 heat settings is a great option. The straightener achieves heat setting quickly. I am extremely satisfied.
Very nice kit, the brush isn't as good as other brands

The beard soap bar is great, wax is of decent quality and the burn protection oil is a nice addition. The main issues I have is with the brush: It's larger than necessary and it doesn't heat up as quickly as my old Aberlite.The double click lock to turn it off, or control temperature also seems unnecessary. Like it was made to patch up some poorly made controls.Overall, it does the job. I hope it replaces my Aberlite, as it's too small for my beard now, but it'll be a trial unfortunately.

Over all look good but when used buttons are not working.
Makes your beard look less homeless looking
So far so good. I like the soap.I don't use it that often, but i like to use it before I trim cuz it really makes all the stray hairs visible.Don't use it on a wet beard. And don't hold it on the hairs too long or they will burn.I have some waves in my beard and it makes those waves more manageable.
Excellent product!!!
Took a while to get to me but it was worth it. The broad brush style is an excellent design it was quick and easy to pass through my beard. Instructions are pretty straightforward heating was fast. I had a cordless beard straightener prior to this one and the battery eventually died on me. Much happier with this one.
