I got this because my friend fell sick not too long ago, I used this for the first time and luckily they didn't have a fever, but was still hot. I even used it on myself a couple of times because of how hot I felt and had a headache. The brightness is good and easy to read. The only noise is when it keeps to let you know that it read your temperature and it's not that loud. The size is great for you to store it anywhere! It works really well! I don't know about the orange and red lighting because no one's fever has gone up that high yet, but the green light is nice and bright!

Very happy with this purchase. Displays temperature less than 2 seconds. It is accurate based on my normal temperature and also when I ran a brief low fever post surgery. Very handy a quick check. Easy to use. Completion tone isn’t annoying. Seems durable enough.I like to have two thermometers available, one in each bathroom. My old standard oral (slow) thermometer to verify accuracy of the this quick contactless one which again is very accurate.

I am not lying when I say I have tried no less then 10 different thermometers like this kind over the years Not just from Bolo but a lot of sites. We bought both name brands like Braun and non brand name ones. None of them worked for any period of time or worked at all or were at times not even accurate. I only purchased this meaning to send down to my daughter in law because my grand baby was going to be having surgery and she has to keep a record before and after of her temps if any but I honestly didn’t have much hope that this would work and she would have to use the dreaded old fashioned kind. I got this and held out hope that I put the 2 batteries in correctly ends up I found this is so easy to use and I was so happy it worked. I used it over a 3 day period on myself and my husband, also on Items around us and even the dog and cats and it was all appropriate to what the under the tongue one showed. YEAH we have a winner. I gave it to my DIl and she was so thankful because there is nothing worse than having to stick a thermometer where the sun don’t shine on a little sick child. Plus its a nice color pink which matches her bedroom. It’s accurate, is easy to store in its original box that it was sent in is sensitive enough to pick up a high or low fever, is easy and comfy to use and depending on the amounts of time you use it that will show what the battery life will be. We are all happy with this purchase.

Works very well, and let me get rid of a couple older thermometers which used almost-impossible-to-find button bateries. Having two AAA batteries is a big plus on feeling like this will have better longevity than the older ones. Being non-contact & rapid reading is also a big improvement on the oral thermometers we had been using.

This is a must have item in the house, or at least my house. My 1 year old hates doing an oral/axillary temp so this was a HUGE help while he was sick. What I really love is that you can silence the beeping. That is what would wake my baby up at night with his other thermometer, so this is perfect for a light, sick sleeper.For the most part, as long as you move hair out of the way , the readings are accurate. I like that it goes from Green, Yellow and Red depending on temperature too. The size is great, not too bulky, very sleek and fits right in my hand- it is small enough to go in your bag for travel!
