Bought a new house few months ago that has the whole home audio system built-in, but the last owner removed all the audio equipments and left the pre-wired cables in the media cabinet. Looked at few mulit-channel amplifiers on Bolo, this is the only one that comes with S/PDIF input, which is important for me since I usually use the Sonos Connect as my main audio media player thru the digital out, thought this might be worth a try. I have 4 rooms with wired 8" in-wall and 6.5” ceiling speakers, I asked the installer to have it running through a 4 channel volume controllers for living room, kitchen, master bedroom and one exterior controller in Patio for a total of 10 speakers.This amp has plenty of individual channels, I connected the Sonos Connect thru S/PDIF input as the main audio source, and use the mini jack to RCA cable to hook the Bolo Echo Dot on the Bus 1. It is very simple to setup between those 2 music sources by the input switches on each zone, so each zone can play from a different source (Sonos, Echo Dot, CD player or iPhone) and can be volume controlled independently or you can play to one, some, or all your rooms (zones) from one source at the same time, very flexible for setting up and ways to use it.Have had it almost 3 months now, seems to work really good and sounds great, plenty of power to drive speakers all over house. The auto-on/off delay switches works perfectly, as soon as I streaming and play to a device connected to the amp it goes on. Once I've paused or stop playing a song, it will automatically turn off (go into stand-by mode). Overall, this amplifier is pretty solid and definitely an awesome value.

I purchased the 8 channel (4 zone) version to setup my 4 in-ceiling speakers in the living room, and 4 outdoor speakers in patio. Since each channel has its own level control, so individual channel volume can be adjusted for my living room and outdoor speakers. 80W per channel is power enough to drive the most of in-ceiling or outdoor speakers in the market.There’re two Bus inputs on this amp, I can choose two sets of RCAs or choose one RCA & S/PDIF input, that's a very good feature to let me save around $30 to get the additional digital to analog converter.I used the Sonos Connect as the player/preamp via the S/PDIF connected to the digital input on the MZ-850S as the BUS IN signal to run with all speakers to each zone.The auto on/off delay time feature is a great idea (I set it for 5 seconds), so once you start casting audio the amp will be turned on right away, then it turns off automatically when the music stop.Build quality is superb and impressive, the blue color LED and the high glass mirror front panel finish bring this amplifier to the higher end level. Since this amp has 2 BUS Input & output, allow me to share the same Sonos music source to the second amp, so I will consider to purchase other 12 channel version for expansion to run more speakers in each bedrooms.
