I had been looking at this and other cabinets for quite some time pondering which one to get or if I should find a used one and fix it up. The fact that it's made out of real wood kept me coming back to this one. I was hesitant because some of the reviews weren't very flattering. I saw it was reduced to $200 for a minute and I had to take a chance and buy it.Maybe some people aren't very good at assembling things or they got lemons because this cabinet is very nice, arrived on time, undamaged and was easy to assemble. I would buy it again if I need another one and will look for this manufacture next time I am in need of something like this.

This tv stand looks beautiful and works wonderfully for our new 85” tv. It arrived on time in good packaging. Upon arrival and unboxing it smelled quite strong of staining, but the smell dissipated quickly. It was easy to assemble, but slightly time consuming. It looks like a very high quality and sturdy tv stand. Our echo dot fits great on the open shelf, and the center top compartment fits the Xbox one nicely. A Nintendo switch is housed in the compartment beside that and there is plenty of storage for gaming accessories and games/DVDs. We still have plenty of room left inside and could place decorative items on the open shelves. I like that it hides the clutter and the solid back to the stand makes wire management very easy. I also like that the stand has a long enough width and depth for the tv to sit directly on the stand rather than be wall mounted. Overall this is a very nice stand.

I was expecting a wood cabinet that was "solid" wood and found many pieces laminated over plywood. With this type of description you could consider MDF (particle board) solid wood as well, but I digress. Door fronts and post are solid, most everything else is laminated plywood which is definitely better than MDF. Sturdier, lighter and not prone to warping like MDF.We purchased the Mahogany Brown and expected a more chocolate brown color from the pics. Turns out it's more of a "reddish" brown. But it looks nice and fits were we need it so we will keep it.

The TV console/stand came reasonably well packaged and suffered minimal, inconsequential damage during shipping. Considering the weight and size of the cabinet, I was expecting some handling damage. All hardware was present and they even ship with extras just in case...nice!Assembly took right at 2 1/2 hours to complete with just a philips and flathead screwdriver. This is not a complicated cabinet to assemble and the instructions are decent enough and the pieces are well labeled.The completed cabinet is sturdy, looks nice and is much better than the usual particle board or MDF, vinyl clad junk that is common for knockdown type of furniture.I am very pleased with the balance of quality, value and ease of assembly. A very good bridge between real cabinetry and useless, disposable furniture.

I was so pleased with the quality of the workmanship of this TV console. I gave it a 4-star in the ease of assembling this only because it took myself and my 82yr old husband most of the day to assemble it. The instructions were very clearly illustrated and all the parts were there. They even included an extra package of nuts and bolts just in case. The storage space of the console is so generous and we really needed the added storage since our downsizing into an apartment size house this year. The wood was beautiful and not any press board.

Ordered this for our 75" new TV. Perfect size but when it arrived, you could tell it wasn't inspected or constructed as one would like. No holes or dents in the box but the lower and upper front edge panels we damaged(dowels completely separated)from the main shelf. It was packed that way. Several splits/cracks in the panels. You can tell it wasn't inspected when they packed it. The bottom line this console is so heavy and large and once I had removed all the panels for assembly, there was no way I could figure out how to stick it all back in the box and return it. So I contacted the manufacturer and they said those defective panels weren't available so contact Bolo for a partial refund return or credit. My only choice was a partial refund and my hope was to (semi-fix the damage). I glued the bad pieces together as best I could and stained them with some stain that (was close). Bolo did a great job with the partial refund which was over 50% of the cost of the item. I documented with pictures all the damage so the evidence was all there. I managed to piece it together well enough to use it but don't get too close or you will see the defects. The seller is worthless but Bolo came through with a compromise resolution. Buyer beware of the quality control of this item. It's made in Vietnam.
1.0 out of 5 stars Assembler botched the job and we had to return it
We really liked the design of the unit but the amateur assembler that was sent to put it together took 5-6 hours rather than 1-2 and completely botched the job and damaged the piece so badly that we had to return it. They were out of stock and could not send us an exact-match replacement. Bolo made good and picked up the damaged unit free-of-charge and refunded both the purchase price and the cost of assembly. We ended-up buying something else via Bolo but this time my daughter and son-in-law put the thing together for us and the result was much better than the original experience. Frustrating hardly describes the original episode.

I have bought a few pieces of storage but none as good as this from Mail order. Was lengthy assembly but looks like more expensive piece. Glad I bought it!
