We've tried several cameras from expensive cameras (claris) that gave nice pictures however proved to be difficult to integrate and to cheap e-bay cameras that gave poor pictures and still a problem to integrate with apteryx. So this camera is a good buy especially for the price.

This is a very good intra oral camera that I use with my patients for case presentation. It's very easy to use and the images are high quality. We integrated that camera with Dexis and save all our images there. It is a great replacement for my old Teli-cam intra oral camera.

It is the first intraoral camera I own and it was very easy to install. Tech support was super helpful when we got a problem when the software could not read/integrate the image into the system, they help us right away and the problem solved quickly. Even though the image is not the very best quality, it is pretty decent and the price is not outrageous compared to others in the market. Bottom line, I am very happy with my purchase!

Camera works great for a month or two and then no input device can be found. We have bought 4 or 5 of these and it happens every time, sometimes before the return period is up but usually after. Picture quality is really good but then stops working.

Great Value for the Price, Easy to install and Use with our dentrix imaging software; It's perfect for patient education, you can show them what you see and explain procedures much better with a real time visual aid.Pros:+ Affordable.+ Clear image with enough resolution to notice great detail+ LED lights are really bright and wont get hot enough to harm the patient+ The included disposable protective sheaths cover almost the entire device.+ USB cable is detachable which makes it replacesable in case it gets damaged.+ Great costumer support and quick reply for emails, I even received a call from a tech to confirm that the license was working as expected.Cons:- Only two licenses for each intra oral camera, if you have to re-install the license key on a broken computer, it is adviced to contact support and they will send another key.- As far as I can tell the protective sheaths for the PD760 are only sold in bulk from Bolo at a cheaper price than from the prodentshop.com- prodentshop.com doesnt list the replacement sheaths for the PD760 on their site even though the part number is the same PDC-A01

It s a nicer camera than the basic $100 ones but it doesn't work with my Dentrix Imaging software. Website wasn't helpful and customer service couldn't figure it out either. Returned for something else.

BIG PROBLEM, Not Enough Tech Support to be an Bolo Available product. I have is long wait times trying to solve capture software issues . I run Eagle Soft current versions on all my machines, camera is pretty decent when capture software is functioning properly. GLITCHES, GLITCHES, Glitches ….

I have been using ProDent Cameras for almost a decade. I originally purchased the PD740 which was great until an assistant was really aggressive in cleaning it. Water and cleaner got under the lens and ruined the viewing capabilities. I purchased this HD version, and then recently a second for convenience in another operatory. They integrate well with Eaglesoft. Protective sleeves on them aren't that great as they distort the image. So we clean them lightly with CaviWipes being careful not to wipe with a very saturated wipe. I highly recommend these.
