He constantly loves grabbing his face and with fast growing claws might I add. It’s nearly impossible to find him daily without a little scratch. Thankfully, this device allows me to get a VERY close trim right down to the nub (which is basically necessary for us) with little to no discomfort. However, I do recommend using during nap time, just to make your life easier if you have a squirmy wormy like mine. I almost believe when he is calm enough for me to work on them awake, it actually relaxes him. Maybe it’s the light buzzing or the subtle vibrations? Some tv and a pacifier is “chefs kiss” distracting him long enough to get the job done. When that doesn’t work, my husband shakes a rattle and this works just as well (helpful hack). It’s also great at buffing the little skin peels on his fingers. That’s how gentle it is!! Though gentle, it still manages to QUICKLY and EFFORTLESSLY grind down the nail nearly perfect every time. I love that it can be used on adults as well thanks to variety of head options. It’s definitely a two for one deal which includes other essentials necessary for a great manicure. It’s SO satisfying, relaxing and easy to use, even I feel like a licensed nail tech by the end. I highly recommend to ALL Mamas or Mamas-to-be! With that being said, it’s a great addition to any shower gift! Mom will bow down to you later! ;)

I loved using this on my infants nails. It helped me get his nails shorter without feeling stressed like I was going to hurt his fingers or skin. Definitely a product that was good until he got a little older and his nails got thicker. I would say I used it for probably the first nine months of his life. When his nails got too thick, I would have to use a more harsher file and I did not feel comfortable using it because I might scratch his skin. So I moved onto regular nail clippers after nine months. I’m definitely happy I bought this product and I would buy it again for my next child.

This nail trimmer is a great tool for safely trimming baby nails. It spins at a safe speed to avoid injury, and I really like the dual speed settings and the ability to reverse direction. That makes trimming different hands and feet much easier. The built-in light is helpful, but it’s dim and only on one side, so I find myself flipping the device often to get a better view. I also wish it had just a bit more power, as it can slow down when trimming tougher baby nails. Overall, though, it’s a solid and safe choice for nail care.

Honestly, I was pretty skeptical about this product when my husband first suggested I buy it. Last time I trimmed my baby’s nails, I cut her, made her cry and bleed, and felt like the worst Mom on the planet. I ordered this figuring it was worth a shot for the price. And what can I say? This thing is absolutely amazing! It just took me a minute or two to learn how to use it. I used it while she was sleeping and she didn’t mind. This product completely took the stress out of trimming her nails and was super quick! I don’t have to dread or put off doing her nails anymore!

I recommend this item to every mom out there with a baby! Buffing my son's nails is so easy and I dont have to worry about cutting him on accident with traditional nail clippers. I like that this kit comes with rotor pads for baby but also mom and dad! Very convenient storage and we take it with us to travel. Runs on batteries and functions pretty well!

Honestly i used it for my newborn because i was scared to knick him with clippers but as he got wigglier they became pretty much useless. Normal clippers are faster but if baby is a heavy sleeper and you are scared to knick them you may like it more than me. Was super useful when he was having those super super deep newborn naps

The BEST nail trimmer that I’ve tried. The different heads actually last and file the nails quickly. It’s easy to use and safe. The light that comes on really helps to be able to see the little edges of the nails. It moved in two directions and has different speeds which is nice as well.For the price you literally can’t get better than this.

I tried using a normal nail file on my newborns nails and it was useless so I purchased this instead. It's unbelievable how well it works, really easy and safe to use. Small enough to take in your changing bag if necessary and I'm able to use whilst my baby sleeps where it's not too noisy! Game changer!
