As stated, they are made out of plastic but are good quality & accuracy. Verified measurements were accurate with other lab equipment.Also on a side note, the seller: Moveland is a great company. Had an issue with one beaker and they did an amazing job fixing it. That being said, I am 100% positive that the one unit that was damaged was strictly due to the shipper. I tried to smash the partially broken unit and I only learned how well these were made as I was unsuccessful.

It was a great kit with beakers and measurers. We used them to hold clues for a 'science lab' escape room and they worked great.

I chose these because the cylinders had both front and back scales, which should make it easier to make accurate measurements. Unfortunately, the front and back scales do not line up! In the 10, 50, and 100 ml cylinders, they differ by about 0.4 mm; but in the 25 ml cylinder, they differ by a whopping 2.4 mm! I calculated the volumes based on inside diameter and height of the scale marking. The molded scale agreed with my calculations to within about 3%, but at the lower end, some of the printed scales were off by as much as 25%. This product is fine if you ignore the printed scales and don't need better accuracy than 3%.The very next day after sending feedback to Moveland, I got a the following response: "Thank you for letting us know that the graduated cylinders set issues. I have reported this issue to our quality controller. Can you take a picture of the cylinder scale for us? This will help us better improve our products." And they offered to send me their $14.99 set of graduated glass cylinder at no charge. I sent them scanned images and the measurements I took on their plastic cylinders, and they responded the next day stating that they had tested the product, found the same errors, and have taken steps to correct the problem.Their glass cylinders arrived today, and they do not have the problem I found with their plastic ones. If you want plastic graduated cylinders, I believe the set I originally ordered would be suitable for applications not requiring extremely high precision, but only after their manufacturing problem has been corrected.

It cost me 11 bananas (giving current inflation bananas seem to be quite stable alternative in UK)Appears to be accurate - if you keep pouring liquid from one to the other it shows same (by eye) value in each container - good enough! I would not used it for breaking bad chemistry lab, but works well with kids "cooking" some sand-pies and mud-cookies. Or me trying to be an engineering master capable of fixing some jet engines and diesel injectors :DAnyway, it is late enough to fall asleep. Good night folks.
