5.0 out of 5 stars Sunscreen
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Keeps pale skin pale and not red. Zinc based so it doesn't rub in well. It is greasy. But it works on very fair skin.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good but thick
I love this product because it’s nontoxic. Cons are that it’s pretty thick and a little gritty so it takes a lot to get it rubbed in which isn’t great for an impatient toddler.
5.0 out of 5 stars Trustworthy Brand
Earth Mama literally has the best products! I wouldn't trust any other brand to use on my babies sensitive skin. It is thick and can be a little hard to spread but offers great protection.
1.0 out of 5 stars Does not work
Bought this after reading the recent articles about good quality sunscreen and wanting my children to not absorb unnecessary chemicals. Applied this for 2 days this weekend to my children’s faces and shoulders and they both got burnt. (No water activities were done). Throwing this away immediately.
5.0 out of 5 stars Earth Mama created another great product
The media could not be loaded. Safe for baby and it really works! Love this company for producing products that moms that dont want chemicals on their babies can use and still works as well as the chemical stuff! This is not easy to get out of the bottle but if you use a little muscle and a foundation pad its great!
3.0 out of 5 stars There are pros and cons
There are pros and cons. Overall, the product IS worth it for very young children. I like this product because it does what it says it’ll do; moisturizes and protects skin with waterproof ingredients. Everything is plant derived and is as “whole” as possible. Simply put the sunscreen utilities natural spf properties of things like raspier berry seed oil and Shea butter. Because of that it is one of the safest things to put on your infant IF necessary. The cons are related to the price. Putting this on our four year old today I used 1/3 of the bottle. After a long day at the pool and reapplication the bottle will be gone. I feel like we just tore up a twenty dollar bill. The main ingredient is coconut oil, which is not worth the price tag. The other oils included, like raspberry and jojoba, are on the more expensive side, but at that price and coupled with the amount sunscreen not going very far, it’s not very good value for money at all. You could easily order and make your own for cheaper. If you don’t care to make your own, and you’ll only use a little bit of you’ll only use it for a short time on an infant then it may be worth it but if you’re looking for a sunscreen for all your kids this isn’t it!!!!
2.0 out of 5 stars Too much white cast!
Wanted to love it, hoping it would work. It takes a while to rub in and they say no white cast, but it does have too much white cast. I love that it has the oatmeal in it, which is great if you have some redness on your face, has a lot of great natural ingredients in it and is non Nano zinc, But too much white cast and obviously won't work right under makeup with that. Hard to wash off. I was looking for something to replace the oil of Olay Sensitive Mineral Sunscreen. Obviously my search continues. They need to fix the formula then it would be great.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great for littles
Works great on my little one! Clean ingredients and kept him from getting sun at the beach.
