Our son bought this costume for a lacrosse tournament where they had to wear costumes. He was able to still move easily and play lacrosse while wearing it. Easy to get on and off, and durable enough to wear for 4 games plus wearing it afterwards whenever he's feeling like being a goofball.

We bought the xl size to fit a person 5'6" and 180 lbs. We also bought a steamer to get rid of the wrinkles in the material, which felt like foam. It took about 20 minutes to get it ready to wear. Another good-to-consider note: the material around the wearers face is white. We chose to not wear makeup in order to keep the costume clean without stains.The costume had about 5" of extra room in the waist area, but it was comfortable. There's an inset for a person's head, which fits well. Three zippers at the top of the costume to unzip and "peel". We unzipped one of the sides to the shoulder level to give the "appealing" view. The bottom of the costume hung like a dress to just past the knees. Many compliments. It was worn indoors for one hour while making banana splits. Even though the material is lightweight, the wearers head was sweating so much that eyeglasses were slipping off their nose. The clothes worn under the costume were a white tank top and black lightweight slacks.However. The attached photos show marks that were on the costume when unboxed. The seller's description mentions velcro, but there was no velcro in the original package with the costume. We didn't figure out where the velcro would be used. The price point was reasonable. Regardless of it potentially being a returned-after-used item with incomplete pieces, there wasn't time to return for a different one. One could wonder if when returned there wasn't a quality check to ensure the package was complete and product unused. That makes for a three-star review.The manufacture label recommends to sponge clean. We ran water over those marks and with a dab of dish soap the marks cane out. We hung it up to air dry and will need to steam wrinkles out prior to the next appealing event.

Bought this to go to a Gwen Stefani themed party; I was a bigger hit than Gwen’s single ‘Hollerback Girl’. The zipper at the top makes you look rather ‘apeeling’, if you prefer the top down. Costume does not come with the black under arms and pants, those are sold separately. If you want to be cooler than a banana split, I suggest you purchase this costume.Note: Costume has a pouch in the front for, what I assume, is to put some weight in to hold the bottom tip down, so here are some tips:1. Use the pouch to hide snacks, then use those snacks to fend off curious monkeys or ferocious gorillas.2. If you’re a dude, be careful of accidental self infliction of pain to your ‘natural’ banana region.3. You don’t actually need to weigh it down, it’s all ripe to wear as is.

I purchased this costume in an attempt to infiltrate the hidden ape empire. It has been 30 days and so far no one has questioned my existence in the underground banana vault.This convincing disguise is made of lightweight, breathable, fabric which works well under these intense circumstances. At this price point, we'll easily be able to outfit an entire Banana Battalion in a matter of months.I definitely recommend this purchase!

My son wore this for world book day. He’s 10 but it fitted him fine. Would still fit a slim adult ( I think it’s an adult costume) the quality is good and zip up skin is a definite plus! It’s brilliant!
