I have used several soldering irons over the past few years, and this was comparable to most of them at a much lower price. The soldering iron heats quickly and it has an adjustable dial for temperature. It is lightweight, a very simple design. This kit also comes with an incredibly amount of accessories that I probably will never use. There are multiple soldering tips, wire covers, red and black wires, pliers, solder, etc. just to name a few. The stand works well, the wet sponge is good for cleaning off excess solder, so far everything works. It isn't a fancy kit, but it works perfectly fine so far. Depending on the durability of the soldering iron, it will be a good kit that fulfills my needs.

I’ll say this is a good starting point it get the job done for simple soldering.I have used this thing to solder batteries for GB, GBC and GBA games, I have also used it to solder cables for ISP GBA mods.There better stuff out there however this is definitely a good starting point I’ll just advise buying a bottle of flux, some better quality soldering wick and of course one of those copper balls to help clean the soldering tip upon use the sponge is good those things are just better by a long shot.

I bought this kit to have a travel soldering kit while away on disaster relief deployments for any projects that might come up. Build quality seems to be fair for the price. Lots of accessories included in the pouch, with enough room to add a few more things. It's not too heavy to just throw into your toolkit for the chance of needing it. I've only used it once so far to make sure that the iron heated up enough, and I was able to solder a PL-259 connector to the end of a coax cable ... 90% of what I'd need this for. I'm happy with the purchase.

Muy buen kit, tanto si conoces bastante o lo básico de la soldadura, trae una tarjeta con un libro electrónico en ingles sobre la soldadura donde podrá aprender algo aunque sea usando el traductor de Google, así mismo trae un juego de herramientas y suministros útiles, en mi caso pensé que necesitaría ir a la tlapalería a comprar soldadura de estaño pero no fue así, trae un pequeño bote con suficiente estaño como para soldar al menos varios metros de cable, en general estoy bastante contento con este kit
