I remember watching commercials of luxury cars where you see people nicely dressed in glamorous clothes to be ready to experience a night of luxury at its finest. That's how I felt when I picked up this pen. It is an elegant looking pen that's wrapped up in quality packaging that lets you know you are in for an extraordiny writing experience. I purchased Turquoise Gold. I use a Hobonichi planner for my daily writing activities which allows me to journal, schedule, plan, budget, etc. The challenge was finding the right pen for my journaling. It seems like I've gone through so many different pens that didn't seem to accommodate my writing style. I've used a plenty gel pens because the ink is a little darker and the writing is a little smoother. After a while, many of them start to skip when the ink gets below medium level. I felt like the singing U2 song "I Still Havent Found What I'm Looking For!." I then thought of using fountain pens to provide me with a little more flexibility. I never used a fountain pen so this will be a first. I originally purchased a couple of different disposable fountain pens. After writing the first sentence I immediately sent them back for a refund because they started skipping (still havent found what I'm looking for). Then I came across the Wordsworth & Black Collection. I thought, these fountain pens look like a very good quality fountain pens. I was willing to pay the higher price for good quality fountain pen which had good reviews. I then decided to purchase one. If I didn't like it I would return it and move on with my gel pens.When I opened the box and took out the pen, I was so impressed with not only the look of the pen, but the feel and weight of the pen. I felt like I just wanted to get dressed up before writing with this pen ( I was at home working in my pjs). Once I put the ink cartridge in and began to write, my first words I wrote were "Oh My Gosh!" This is truly a high quality luxury pen. I have not ever written with a fine quality fountain pen before but this is a game changer. The writing is very smooth, and it doesnt skip. The ink cartridges are easy to install, and you also have the flexibility of using the Pis Ton Mechanism for bottled ink. The ink doesn't blotch on your paper and allows you to have quite an elegant writing style. I am hoping to purchase some additional pens that I can quickly write with different colors, and looking to purchase the pens without the cartridges. I may have to use this pen to write a song "I Have Finally Found... What I'm Looking For!" Happy Writing!!!

This pen is beautiful to look at and writes beautifully. I'm not sure what the bent nib is all about. I couldn't find out in the description, but I am just really pleased with it. I had a lovely fountain pen that was lost when we moved and I was really missing writing with one. So I went on Bolo to find one. I wasn't familiar with this brand, but the prices weren't too unreasonable, so I decided to try it. I'm glad I did. Like I said, the nib is smooth and glides across the page. I'm glad too, that you can purchase additional or spare nibs that just screw on. You do have to be careful to purchase the ones that fit your particular pen, as they are not interchangeable across all the different pens the offer. Very satisfied.Update! I did some research on the bent nib or "fude" nib and discovered it is used in calligraphy. The end of the nib is actually bent upward. You can control the width of the ink line by the angle in which you hold the pen. It was created to mimic strokes of a brush used in Japanese writing. Very interesting. This pen produces a very broad line on most of the paper I have used it on when held normally. I have been experimenting with holding it at different angles to produce thinner lines. I initially purchased the bent tip thinking it was made to be easier to hold and write. Ha ha! I'll do my research next time. I could return it, but it writes beautifully on my stationary, not too broad a line, so I'll keep it and continue to play with the different angles on different paper. The only problem I am having is the cap will not stay on the barrel of the pen when i am writing. This review pretty much covers my experience with this pen.

This thing writes smooth as butter, it is obviously bleeding ink so be careful to let it dry first before touching it. But this genuinely feels like an expensive pen and it has a really nice weight to it, would recommend to those who like a touch of elegance to their writing experience. I got mine for a notebook that has really aged paper, so it’s very thick and a fountain pen is ideal for depositing ink into the pages

I have been using fountain pens for a while now. I have the large and narrow barrel pens. As a whole, I prefer the narrow as it feels better in my hand. This pen I was very excited about when it came. First of all it looks great and fells great in my hand. The pen write wonder and I am very happy with the EF nib. The only thing that I am not happy about is when you place the cap on the back of the pen, it doesn't always stay on and will come off. It is very loose. If it wasn't for that, I would give it 5 stars.

Choisi en pointe extra-fine car ma mère a une petite écriture, il excelle. Il glisse sans peine sur le papier et procure un grand confort à l'utilisation. En plus, il était livré avec 24 cartouches noires. Impeccable!

Picture showed that it comes with both red and black ink cartridges but it only came with black ink ones. Ink leaks a little while capped. Dirtied my fingers when using. Pen is not bad and quite fine to use. Not really nice to use.
