We used these as kids carryons (for a 5 and 7 year old). The problem was we could fit so much stuff in them that they got way too heavy for the kids! We ended up using them as luggage instead of carry ons. The zippers were super strong (we shoved a ton of stuff into them on the way home to avoid overweight fees from our main bags). The fabric was light, but thick. The clips and straps worked well to compress the contents and gave us extra peace of mind that the zippers wouldn’t bust open when being tossed around during loading/unloading of the plane. Really a great backpack for adults. I would definitely say to get the hybrid if you want to use them for kids. They are durable, and I think they will be a great carryon for our kids as they get older.

Now my go to bag for most trips. Sure, roller bags are convenient, but this has the added benefit of being able to stuff under the seat when overheads are full up.

This was exactly what I needed and arrived one day early. Very roomy. I didn't fill it all the way thinking it might not fit under the seat in one of the small United Express airplanes, but as the photo shows, I could have packed a lot more in it. The straps on the side are great for adjusting depending on how full the backpack is. I'm short (4'11") and have back and neck issues and wasn't sure if the backpack would be comfortable to carry, but it worked great. I packed a rather heavy camera on top of toiletries and clothes for a three-day trip. The front pockets worked well for phone charger, wallet, medication, and other items you need handy, even a water bottle. My only "complaint" about this backpack, is it doesn't have a mesh pocket on the side for the water bottle, but that's a small detail. Overall, I'm happy with it and looks sturdy enough to last.

I underpacked this because i was taking a Spirit flight and was worried they wouldnt count it as my free "personal" item. OMG i had so much more room - packed for 6 days in Colorado.Best bag ever. Everything is easy to get too, zippers seem good. Nothing has frayed - i've taken it a few places now. Back-straps are comfortable..Just an all around great bag.

Great size! Perfect for carry-on for Spirit (although they suck as an airline and I won't be using them again anyway).With this bag and a rolling carry-on on any other airline i will have more than enough clothes/shoes, etc for a long trip without having to check in! I plan to buy some more!Also, straps are very comfy!

Love this personal item backpack luggage. Room for extra clothing, shoes, etc. Has most features looking for. Just wish it had water bottle pocket and the ability to tuck straps away like most.

I have another larger Cabin-Max bag and prefer it to my roller bag. This under the seat bag compliments the larger one and is a back pack for the weekend also!

Good size for shorter trips
The bag is easy to pack and is sufficiently big for a 2-7 day travel if you do not need to change clothes every day. I bought 4 bags for our family and unfortunalely one of them was starting to rip at the end of the texile almost instantly so the quality is not the best.Considering that the cost of the bag is less than the extra cost of bringing a large cabin bag in EasyJet we actually had return of the full investment after only one trip so this purchase was definitely a success.
