I've honestly gatekept this brand and variety because I'm afraid of it selling out... But I have to leave a glowing review. I really just have to. I noticed a huge upgrade in their packaging. It used to come just in a plain Bolo bubble envelope, but now they've upgraded to branded boxes, wrapping paper, and an even bigger origami paper freebie :)Really, though, this matcha is my very favorite. It's deeply and vibrantly green, naturally sweet, not bitter whatsoever. It is a massive upgrade from any other "premium" matcha I've tried. When mine ran out and I didn't plan ahead properly, I had to order another brand in the interim. It's just... fine. Haha. People really enjoy that brand but it is truly just okay. It does not stand up to this delicious matcha. I've been drinking matcha for something like 15 years and have never had anything this good.Also, please watch their product video on how the matcha is made. I really appreciated seeing their brand represented in the video and seeing the step-by-step process, why they do certain processes, etc. It made me even more confident it's actually a great product directly from the source.I'm a huge fan of this brand and will continue to support them as long as they will continue to feed my addiction :) Please restock the 1lb bag becuase I'm absolutely going to treat myself to it once you do!! :)

If they can keep the price to quality ratio up on this matcha, I’m sold for life!! Matcha Konomi began in 2015, ten years ago so is fairly new for a matcha producer. I must tell you I’m a bit suspicious. Have you ever been to a new restaurant where the price to quality is over the top at first and then a few years later you wouldn’t let your dog eat there? I must admit, all I’ve tried so far is Matcha Konomi’s Akira and so far I can honestly tell you the price to quality thoroughly knocked my socks off…let’s see if how long these folks can keep this up!!!!

I just had my first matcha latte using this and I’m really happy with the quality. When I opened the tin, it had a fresh, grassy smell and the powder was a beautiful bright green—exactly what I was hoping for in a ceremonial grade matcha. The latte I made turned out smooth and delicious, and it gave me a nice energy boost without any jitters.Even though the delivery estimate said it would arrive late, it actually came on time! A nice surprise. I also loved the thoughtful touch of including a little origami paper in the package. I’m planning to make something with it soon—such a cute idea!Highly recommend this matcha.

I always worry about the quality of matcha from Bolo but this product is actually pretty great! It smells grassier than other matchas I’ve tried but has a hint of sweetness to it. The color is absolutely beautiful & you can tell by the consistency of the powder that it is good quality. It’s not bitter at all & I was surprised as to how little sweetener I needed for my latte as the matcha provides its own sweetness. The only thing is I feel like it’s not super strong so you have to use a little more for the flavor to come through. Otherwise, due to this matcha being readily available on Bolo, & actually good quality- I will definitely be purchasing again!!

I’ve repurchased this matcha multiple times, as it’s one of my favorites. The last shipment that I received doesn’t seem to be of the same quality as my prior ones. The color is much more dull and the taste seems off. Hopefully just a bad batch and they didn’t change their formula.

The sealer is a bit hard on and off, so I use the ziplock, I want to preserve it as well, ziplock is just easier to control. The quality is good. Smooth is the most impressive word stick in my mind. I could not find my electric stir thing, and the traditional one I already discarded because I found a bit trouble to clean sometimes. Alright the main point is no need for the stir thing that much, adding 175 water, wow, use the stick to stir, btw, I do not even sift it! And it’s nicely blended together with milk. Nice taste! Bright color! Better than stored bought matcha latte! And lastly, hi CEO, I read the note, here’s my honest review! And yes I would recommend to my friends!

Se nota que si es primer cosecha, faltaría ver si la calidad de la planta es top, ya que he probado otros matcha ceremoniales que si marcan la diferencia. Sin embargo por este precio y con entrega en México, sin recurrir a Bolo de EEUU es un producto difícil de superar en calidad vs precio.¡¡Se agradece el papel de Origami para hacer alguna figura!!
