Worked like a charm on our 2014 grand cherokee! Kept our huge heavy storage bag on top very secure all the way from MI to TX over a week. Went through heavy storms, no leaks. Wish I would have found these sooner and so glad I didn't need to install a roof rack. These work fantastic and takes 2 min to put them on.

I had a rental car for a road trip that didn’t have a roof rack or rails so I ordered these at the last minute to hold my rooftop bag carrier. NY to FL round trip, and not one incident! These held fast the entire trip. Decent quality. Durable. They come with their own case. I’d recommend!

I used these to hold a soft carrier on the roof of my car and they worked perfectly - the bag and hooks stayed in place for my 5 day cross country trip. They were very easy to slip on under the foam cover of the door frame and they did not affect the quality of the door seal.

Worked as advertised on my 2018 Honda Pilot. I used it with the Keeper roof top cargo bag on a 21 hour (round trip) to Disney. It lightly rained for part of the drive, but nothing got wet. Contents made it to and fro without incident. I wouldn’t heatitate to use on next trip.Pro: Stayed super secure, virtually impossible to come loose with the door closed. Super Easy to “install”. Contents stayed dry (didn’t rain hard). Easy to wipe off bugs and dirt before storing.Con: Left marks on roof, probably from the nylon rubbing against the clear coat. It was nothing my fingernails couldn’t remove. On the way back, I had to wrap some strips of that foam friction mat stuff made for kitchen drawers.

I'm using these hooks with a Honda Pilot (2012). Make sure to watch the video and check your car to make sure it is the right style to work with these. We use these hooks to haul around our Kayak. It was much cheaper to get this instead of a luggage rack. I would recommend getting a mat to prevent sliding and help protect what you are hauling and the roof of your vehicle. Overall I'd definitely recommend getting these. They are awesome, come in a high-quality bag, and are small enough to just store in the back of your car or a glove box. Awesome product!

We were able to load up the rooftop bag with vacation luggage and these tie down points worked very well.A few notes: I used portions of a small pool noodle to protect the paint where the straps rub at the top of the door. This worked well this time but if we use these more often I will get some paint protection film. I am not sure if it was because of these tie downs or just the load shifting around as we started our trip, but after about 10 minutes I stopped and checked the straps and they had come slightly loose. I just tightened them again and once more after about 30 minutes of driving and they stayed tight until we unloaded the bag.Any time you need to use a tie down strap, you need to check that it stayed tight after driving a short distance. Don't be the one on the side of the road picking up your stuff that fell onto the road, creating a traffic hazard!

Worked well for our rental...needed a rooftop carrier.The new Pacifica "rails" are an interesting grab. The front was fine. The rear was in the slider track. Sometimes, the side doors wouldn't close nicely. Unfortunately, there wasn't a better spot to grab.

I'm happy with this product. I don't have a roof rack and I had to buy some timber that would not fit inside my car. I used this to tie down the timber on my roof. The only thing that I would suggest is that if you could include something like a rubber mat or something that could protect the roof and keep the cargo from slipping. It was a good thing that I had a rubber mat with me to keep my roof safe from scratches. Overall, this product is very useful, Thanks.
