Prior to this test I had an allergic skin test done. I am literally allergic to almost everything that I was consuming. Press forward it has been some changes in my nutrition and I have been feeling off literally. I came across this test to one save money and 2 to see what else I could be allergic to that I may have forgotten. This test showed me everything even down to the metals I’m allergic too. It’s 100% accurate it aligned with my prior test plus more. This is a must I plan on now doing a test for my whole family. Thank you.
1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of $ and Time
If I could give less than 1 Star I would! I chose this kit because it claimed to check the most allergies/food intolerances. I followed the instructions, mailed it off, waited an undue amount of time - but was willing to do so because I thought I was waiting for a premium result; it turns out that I was awaiting confirmation that I had just pissed away my money and I have an intolerance to this fraud of a company. The extensive result was shoddy and was just a print out of two pages of random things with a percentage, some of which were not food, such as Guinea Pig, but what is worse and what allowed me to know this was just a quick grab for money and not science or health driven was one of the intolerances was a recipe not a food! What??That is right. So instead of saying you are allergic to peas. No. They said I was allergic to beef jerky? Really? That isn't a food allergen that is a collection of a various ingredients. That is like saying you are allergic to "cookies." Well that is not necessarily accurate, but you can say that I am allergic to peanuts, or chocolate. But they said beef jerky which can vary widely with ingredients.Bottom line is we paid a good amount for a whole lot of nothing. Should have went with a better known company that ran fewer test but is more reliable.Greatly disappointed.
5.0 out of 5 stars We thought this test worked great
I've been having stomach issues for the past 2 years. Drs haven't been too concerned about it, but I was interested in knowing if something was inflamming my stomach. My husband bought one for me and one for him. Results came in for me, turns out my husband put the wrong email address. Asked customer service to resend those to him and they did so both happily and promptly. I don't think mine results were 100% accurate, but they were pretty close. Confirmed what I already suspected: gluten and dairy intolerance. My husband's results surprised us both, but he's really never had an issue. We'll start changing some of our eating habits to see how we react. Great purchase!
1.0 out of 5 stars Never buy this product.
Never buy this product. They don’t deliver in the timeframe they tell you. I actually never got my email with my results. Every time I called Bolo about them. There’s no way to contact the company. They keep saying they’re backed up. The results are emailed to you. you have to mail in your product to get your money back. It’s kind of hard to mail in your product if you’ve already sent your hair and your product back in to the company.
4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting
Crazy to see some of the other areas i need to look into.
2.0 out of 5 stars Did get results-Not what I am typically reactive to
The packaging says the results will be back in 3-5 days (been two weeks)...so you get a tiny card to fill out your information with an email. How do they know if the email is a "O" or a zero, and can they read it okay? Does it just go to the wrong place? They ask for the Bolo order number, so will they link it that way?The results are not what is expected. I have been allergy tested, and the funny thing is none of those items were on there? Some of it was a little strange to me
5.0 out of 5 stars Very Interesting and Informative
I got my results back, and wow! There was a lot of information and some surprising results that I did not expect. Some people in previous reviews do not understand that the test they are taking is primarily for intolerances. This makes me understand what could be causing a lot of digestive issues. They do offer separate allergy testing which I will probably purchase in the future. I am also considering purchasing for family gifts. I believe it was about 3 weeks from when I submitted the hair in the mail and results came directly to my email.
1.0 out of 5 stars These intolerance tests are highly likely to be a scam
I took this intolerance test and I took 2 other intolerance tests from different companies. One test says that I am highly intolerant to Brussel sprouts, white wine, pineapples, etc.. and the other test tells me that they had no affect on me at all! Each test said that I was highly intolerant to certain items and none of the 3 tests MATCHED in their results! They weren’t even close! The other companies are getting the same review from me. At least THIS test was slightly more affordable than the other test. Treat this test like a tarot card reader in a traveling carnival that has a migraine at the time of your reading. You MIGHT be entertained by the results.
