We had a couple of other rotary cutters already, but I noticed she had a tendency to hold them more vertically rather than horizontally. I picked this one to replace the others because it has the squeeze trigger that reveals the blade and then it springs back closed when released. It also has the safety button that keeps it locked when not in use.When we first opened it, I thought ordering it had been a mistake. The blade rolled with a jerky motion, and the the squeeze trigger didn't spring back when released. Both of these were solved by slightly loosening the knob that holds the blade on the body of the cutter. It cut easily then. I will have to see how the blades hold their sharpness over time and I will come back and update this review.The price is very reasonable compared to other "brand name" cutters.

Looks like the items in the picture just the blades are much smaller than what the picture reflects. They are about half the size of the picture. I have not used the items yet, because I am currently working on other projects first.
