I placed this in an older 27” HP All-in-one with mismatched RAM (8GB SKHynix 2666, 4GB Micron 2700) with 32 (2x16) GB of 19-19-19-43 Crucial RAM.The PNY flies! It replaced a WD Rust Spinner and everything feels like a responsive, efficient system. The RAM upgrade keeps it from bottlenecking with the i7-8700T and I’m running web development on WSL2. This drive outperforms any platter drive, and WSL installs and handles containers much better now. I know there are faster options, but this one is extremely fast per dollar and meets or exceeds all advertised speeds. I approve!

Storage size will be more than I need. Upgraded my old desk top to convert LP's to wave files, to mp3 files. This will provide much storage for files after converted.

I picked this up on a lightning deal at just the right time and price. This is the 2nd drive I have bought from here. It works really well and plenty fast read and write speeds. Perfect for upgrading an older laptop with a core i7 and can only take a 2.5inch drive. The first drive I bought from here was also installed in one of my older laptops that predates mSata or NVME. I have come to really like PNY products and have bought many of their usb flash drives in the past as well, they are the best working drives I still use daily.

Great little budget ssd for an old laptop that came with a spinning HDD, much improved boot time and overall snappiness. I don't know if these have any cache, which you usually get with the more expensive models but either way it smacks around a sata HDD on all performance metrics.

I am transferring old files I want to save from spinning drives to SSDs. I put this one in an enclosure and have stored some of those old files on it. PNY has always been a reliable brand in my experience and I am gettin good use out of the 1 TB drive.

I added this drive to my niece's PC build I just completed as a misc. drive. No problems yet but this drive is fast and will allow her to have extra storage so her two NVME drives only have what she accesses regularly.

Compré este SSD PNY CS900 de 500GB para darle una segunda vida a un portátil antiguo, y el resultado ha sido impresionante. El arranque de Windows pasó de casi 2 minutos a menos de 20 segundos, y las aplicaciones cargan muchísimo más rápido.💡 Puntos fuertes:Velocidad de lectura/escritura muy decente para un SATA III (aprox. 500 MB/s en mi caso)Instalación muy fácil, formato estándar de 2.5"Ideal para actualizar PCs o portátiles antiguosSilencioso, sin calor ni vibraciones💸 Relación calidad-precio excelente, sobre todo si lo pillas en oferta. No es el SSD más rápido del mundo (comparado con NVMe), pero por el precio es una opción muy fiable y más que suficiente para la mayoría de usuarios.📦 En mi caso venía sin tornillos ni adaptador, pero eso es normal en este tipo de productos. Solo tenlo en cuenta si lo necesitas para una torre.✅ En resumen: Si buscas un SSD económico para acelerar un equipo, el PNY CS900 es una apuesta segura.

Depois de meu HD pifar de repente (5 anos de uso - cuidado) comprei um SSD de marca famosa; devolvi era falsificado, inclusive na embalagem com erros de grafia o que não aparecia na propaganda de venda. Resolvi então comprar esse de marca menos famosa mas bem avaliado. Deu certo.PS: O "famoso" era super bem avaliado, mas na Holanda, nos Estados Unidos, não o da Santa Ifigênia que comprei.Prestem atenção nas avaliações.
