5.0 out of 5 stars Built like a tank, easy to assemble
Wow - this is exactly what I was looking for. Excellent value for the price, and free delivery. Arrived in perfect condition. It is HEAVY, so you may want to open the box and move the much lighter pieces into the area where you'll assemble the unit. Very simple to assemble, but measure the needed shelf spacing for your tubs and boxes before using a mallet to set the shelf arms in place. Super sturdy, and fits SO much. I wish they offered a 4ft-wide unit as well, so I could replace some older shelves in that size. I'm buying another today to continue my storage area cleanup.
5.0 out of 5 stars Quality shelving
These shelving units are really fast and easy to install, with patience if you want it to be even faster having a helper is good. They really do hold alot of weight very well and if you bolt each shelf 1 at a time then you don't have other shelving in your way. Ps: comen sence to place heaviest stuff on the bottom and work your way up,these shelves are surprisingly very sturdy.
5.0 out of 5 stars Heavy duty sheves
The shelves are great for heavy duty storage. However, the box was damaged-open on one end. And only 2 screws and 1nut were on the box. A trip to the hardware store solved the problem.
1.0 out of 5 stars Scratches all around
If you are looking for a product that arrives as new, forget it. Almost all the parts came damage, with scratches, the manufacture really think it as “industrial”. Product quality is ok and assembly is ease, but it is not as good as the ones I previous have, bought at Home Depot.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very sturdy
Just what I was looking for. It was fairly easy to put together and I did use a rubber mallet. It took about an hour but I took my time. Very sturdy product and I like the way you can adjust the shelves.
4.0 out of 5 stars Not great but sufficient
Once we figured out how to assemble it since the manual is a joke, assembly went smoothly save for the nuts and bolts that are meant to secure the cross beams. Even with the correct size 10mm ratchet wrench, it's nearly impossible to tighten them since they're in a very hard to reach space. Plus, you'll need two 10mm wrenches if you want to do it right. We gave up on that and just hand tightened them, deciding that the cross beams they're meant to secure really aren't going anywhere since they're so snugly in place anyway. The metal shelving pieces bend easily under the weight of a 15 inch 1979 Sony TV, which is to say less than 35 pounds. The shelves handle totes and other things to store with smooth surfaces ok but if anything you want to put on a shelf has wheels or feet, they'll snag on the open metal. We ended putting a thin piece of plywood as a liner on the shelves that were affected. I'm not sure these kind of metal shelves are very practical for overall multiple usage.
5.0 out of 5 stars Customer service
There were some issues with the racks and I couldn't find the fasteners. First they only offered a refund for return. After some back and forth about it they offered me 20% off so I'm not going to complain now.I like to chain these together to get larger shelves and more bays.
3.0 out of 5 stars Missing Parts
Both boxes were missing many small parts. The manufacture said they don’t send replacement parts. The screws and nuts are metric and hard for me to find on my own.
