It holds a lot more coins than I expected it to, but I do have to shake it occasionally for them to fall into the little storage area at the bottom. The speaker doesn't work on mine (but I'm honestly fine with that.)

The build quality on this little bank seems a bit flimsy, but it's still working after about a month and my six-year-old squeals with delight every time that little panda steals the coin. It's charming -- the laughter of children and the bank itself. Just note that, for the latter, you might want to get a model without the music or talking, which adds nothing to the effect but will make it as annoying as @#$% after your kid has fed fifteen dollars of quarters into the thing. A final note -- the bank doesn't just eat coins. It also eats batteries, so have a pile of double-As on hand.

I originally bought this for my grandniece for Easter but my 21yr old saw it & said “It’s the cutest thing ever”! We have cats & a dog but just seeing the kitten popping up & taking the money really is adorable!
