I collect fountain pens, specifically vintage flex fountain pens. I do have a good number of modern toss around fountain pens that I buy for when I'm out and about and I don't want to lend someone my Eversharp Gold Seal or Mabie Todd Swan etc. That is what I bought this pen for. However, I have to say this pen has surprised me! It's not a vintage flex, but it's also not a Jinhao, Wing Sung, PenBBS etc. The pen feels a lot more luxurious than I expected and the nib is incredibly smooth! It's not a soft nib, but it just glides across the page beautifully! It looks like a classic and I feel I would have no qualms about bringing it out in a business setting. The fit and finish are remarkable for the price range. In short, If you're looking for a pen that writes consistently and smoothly with no skipps or hard starts with very little feedback and no drag, and that looks like a professional fountain pen, this beats pretty much any other pen I've seen in this price range or even the under $100 price range! Obviously, It would be nicer in the metal barrel version, but honestly, this isn't bad. It has found its way into my small group of daily carrys.Pros:- Name many recognize- Nib is Smooth as Glass!- Nice fit and finish- Classic/professional look and design- PRICE!Cons:- I mean, the metal barrel would have been nicer, but ... really I can't think of one!

The nib writes very smoothly and delivers just the right amount of ink--no runs or skips. The pen itself is very pretty and lightweight. It comes with a single mini ink cartridge, and it accepts a Cross converter (not included). Great pen for the price!

I received my cross pen Bailey today. The pen is very nice and as described. I requested the fine nib but I think they sent me a medium nib because it writes thickly but very smoothly, no complaints on the writing ability. The only other concern is I received only one ink cartridge and the description states that two are included. The pen was packaged nicely in a black cardboard type box with a plastic tray inside that holds the pen. So far just doodling and testing the writing, the pen has not skipped, or torn paper. The color of the pen is coral and is a nice shade. The pen cap posts easily on the end of the pen if you like that and also the cap clicks nicely when pushing in place to cover the nib. Nice and secure. Would have given 5 stars if I had received the second cartridge and the correct nib

This is a really great fountain pen at any price, and an exceptional value at its price point. It feels well-constructed with a solid medium nib (other options are also available) and great ink flow. The pen feels good in the hand both by itself and with the cap posted. I'm not sure whether it is a design feature or a happy accident on my particular nib, but the tip is slightly curved forward (see photo), lining up perfectly with the centerline of the pen and giving very precise tactile feedback while writing. I cannot imagine any improvement that would make this pen better. I definitely recommend it very highlly.

I purchased the Cross Bailey fountain pen expecting it to come ready to use—especially since the listing clearly stated it "comes with ink cartridge." Unfortunately, there was no cartridge included in the box.I went to Staples and bought Cross-branded ink refills that are supposed to fit their fountain pens—but they didn’t fit this model. After some trial and error, I ended up using an old cartridge from another pen just to get it working.The pen itself writes fine once ink is loaded, but the hassle of getting there ruined the experience. For a pen at this price point—and especially from a brand with Cross’s reputation—I expected better quality control and customer care. Including a single starter cartridge would have made all the difference.I’ll be sticking with Scriveiner from now on. Their pens are reliable, come ready to use, and deliver a better overall experience.

I purchased this pen because I wanted an everyday pen that if I lost it or someone used it from my desk and it disappeared I wouldn't be as upset as the more expensive ones. I ordered the Waterman Kultur first and right from the start it was tearing the paper and not smooth. So I sent it back and requested a replacement, which was the same thing. I decided to get the cross as it was more or less the same price range. I am so impressed, I absolutely love the color! It writes soo smooth and it feels good in the hand not too light or heavy, it's just perfect. Needless to say, sending the Waterman replacement back and I'm going to purchase the cross in the coral color. I would definitely recommend. You will not be disappointed.Update: I purchased the Coral to give as a gift. I was glad the package was delivered quickly just in time for mothers day. However, I was disappointed as it did not come in a gift box, and the two cartridges were also missing. Now I will have to buy something to put the pen in, and cartridges before gifting. Due to the fact that I now have to spend more money (so i'm not saving anything) i have given it three stars. The pen itself looks beautiful. I can't comment on anything else as it's a gift.

Da lo mismo con cartuchos originales o con cargador, a los pocos minutos se interrumpe el fluido de la tinta y tienes que agitarla como una maraca para que vuelva a llegar la tinta, así cada tres minutos.
Takes me back to school...without the mess!
I remember having to fill my ink pens at school with various suction devices built into the pens. Always ending up with more ink on my fingers or shirt than IN the pen. Fancied a bit of nostalgia but didn't want to pay a fortune and find that my memories of enforced, good handwriting were rose coloured. Not so, I've used my new pen every day since it arrived. It's comfortable, lightweight and easy to hold. I'd imagine, at the price, it would be and ideal Xmas gift for young and old alike.

I bought two of these and Good Lord! The convertor just doesn’t fit. I have the green colour of this very same pen that I bought from a store, and my Parker converter fits perfectly in it. Now, for some reason, they not only reduced the diameter, but if you think you can still find a suitable converter, NOOOO. They made the body have a stopper half way through so no converter ever goes in. You can ONLY USE mini sized ink cartridges, that are hard to find in the ink brand of your choice. I do not understand why they had to do this. The pens look good and that is the only redeeming feature.
